We stayed for 30 days while waiting to move into our new home in New Bern. New Bern is a fantastic area with so much to do. The property is located close to the waterfront and to stores, shops, and restaurants. We are so grateful to have had this home available to us during our transition. Everything you need is there. The home is exactly as you see in the pictures. The furniture was comfortable, including the beds. Gayle was incredibly quick and helpful with all of our inquiries. Thank you for your hospitality. This home was our temporary home while we had our house built. We have two medium well behaved dogs and needed a place for them, and also a place that was fully furnished. This home fit those needs for us completely. Gayle was incredibly quick and helpful with any and all inquiries we made or things that needed some attention. We rented this property for 2 months with our 6 pets. The home is exactly as the pictures show. The furniture was comfortable, including the beds. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and silverware. The yard is quite large and my dogs loved it. We saw wild turkeys, deer, and lots of birds. It was very quiet and peaceful. Gayle responded very quickly when I needed information. If you want a peaceful place near farms, this is for you.

While waiting on our home to be completed, we stayed here for over a month. Thanks to Gayle, we were able to bring both of our dogs and cats. Very quiet stay and some picturesque early mornings. The dogs also enjoyed the HUGH yard. Thank you again Gayle for your hospitality. We really did enjoy your 'Humble Home.

The pictures do not do this property justice, it is very spacious and what we was looking for. We visit NC quite often and this house is where we would want to stay at when we visit.

My girlfriends and I stayed the weekend at this property on a visit to New Bern for Bike MS. It was just what we were looking for and had every amenity we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The home was very clean, the beds and linens were comfortable, all the appliances worked great, and the cabinets were stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. The large living room and kitchen were great for hanging out with friends after a long day. Highly recommended! We hope to return next year!

I have never stayed at a property where your every need was anticipated as it was at this property. They provided everything you needed and more. It was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. I love how they provided all the southern comfort. I enjoyed my stay, I would recommend it to anyone and hopefully I can return again and get to enjoy it under different circumstances. Ideal for a small family reunion or get together

Very clean, well decorated, comfortable home in quiet area just outside of new bern. Plenty of room both inside and outside of home. Close enough to town yet private. Would highly recommend and if I find myself back in area would definetly book again.
