The water views were beautiful and the dock was an amazing place to spend time !!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. The property is two separate units that are not attached in any way from the inside. However, they do connect through outdoor steps. The family members who stayed in the bottom unit would not describe the unit as having two distinct bedrooms since you walk into what appears to be a converted porch area to get to the larger bedroom. There are only curtains separating the converted bedroom with futon and the main bedroom. The bathroom also has some privacy issues, such as holes/cracks in the wood door. There is also a window going from the bathroom and into the converted porch area that only has a curtain separating the space. This would all be fine, but I don't recall seeing this explained in the listing. Our family likes our own personal spaces and bathroom privacy when we travel. This may be a non-issue for some people, but I would find it helpful to know. On a positive note, the dock and being directly on the lake is very nice.

The dock was amazing! Place for our boat, swimming, sitting, fishing, and lake toys were provided. Cute house, really close to the water in a quiet area!

The property was right on the lake. The layout was really nice. The use of the kayaks and paddleboat was a big hit. Had a great time.

Great lake house with nice separation for our group. The lower level shower is quite small, so we used the outdoor shower instead. Loved the dock for swimming, fishing and kayaking.

We absolutley loved our stay! This was our second year and we will be returning for many years to come. Our kids absolutely love this vacation and look forward to it every year! The outdoor shower is amazing, the dock and house are very clean and very well maintained. We couldn't be happier!

We had a great stay! The house was perfect for us and our family. Having the downstairs area was nice for our daughter, son-in-law and grandbaby. The house had everything we needed, and the outside shower was awesome. The dock is very nice and easy to get in and out of the lake with 2 sets of steps. We rented a boat from Mermaid Cove and Marina which is very close to the house.

The house is exactly as advertised. Jay is easy to work with. House was clean. Dock is perfect for gathering and swimming.

We had a nice stay. We had plenty of room on the dock, we rented a boat and we were able to easily secure it. We caught lots of fish ( and released ) and the AC worked very well. It was a nice week.

We had a great stay at this lake house! The upstairs has been beautifully remodeled and feels fresh and modern, while the lower level is a bit older but still very comfortable. The home was well-stocked with everything we needed, and there was plenty of outdoor seating both by the house and down at the dock — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view.One surprise was that the lower level bathroom window had only a blind separating it from the outer area, but it was manageable. We especially loved using the kayaks and fishing off the dock — definite highlights of the trip! The beds were very comfortable and our group of 7 slept well during our week at the house.On our last morning, the well pump went out, so we didn’t have running water, but Jay responded quickly and was incredibly communicative and helpful. Things like that can happen, and we really appreciated how he handled it. Overall, we’d absolutely stay here again!

We had a awesome family lake weekend to start off the summer. This cabin, location pretty much. Everything was amazing. We love the screened in porch and the docks were amazing. If you’re thinking about booking this, please go ahead and do it. It’s definitely worth it.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. The outdoor shower was a fan favorite and got used every day after hours of playing in the water. The dock is great and very well appointed and maintained. Very nice sun lounge chairs and the kids loved kayaking!

Location was perfect, host was very helpful and responded very quickly. The house was great, kitchen was well stocked with most things we needed. The upstairs and downstairs was only connected by outdoor steps which worked great for our big group but we weren’t expecting that. There was so much great outdoor space, the dock was big and the kayaks and paddle boat were fun! Some of the beds looked like they hadn’t been cleaned and the floors were pretty dirty but overall we had a great time in Jay’s house!

We had a great time. The water was perfect!! Even with the water so warm we still caught fish off the dock. Mostly bluegills and catfish. The house was great and everything worked as expected. If you want a great place to stay this is it!!

This house was such a great place for our family vacation. It is a perfect place to relax, swim, kayak, and cook inside or out. It was exactly what my family needed. It was beautiful inside and had a wonderful layout. The adults slept upstairs, and the teens slept downstairs. I would LOVE to return here with my family!

We look forward to staying at this special property each summer! The house, location and dock are perfect! We brought my parents along this time and the bottom level was perfect for them while my husband and I stayed upstairs with our dogs. We were still together but each had our own space. We had a great time. There were 10 of us. We rented a pontoon and loved swimming off the dock using the numerous floating devices. The upper floor was great for the adults and all the kids stayed in the lower level. Only complaint, the propane grill did not work very well. well

I was surprised that the upstairs and downstairs were not connected on the inside, but that’s the ONLY thing that surprised me. The property is beautiful, the home is cute and clean and the communication with Jay was top notch! Swimming there was wonderful and it’s not crazy busy on this part of the lake. We will be coming again for sure!!!

We enjoyed the extra amenities, such as the kayaks and paddle boat. The area was peaceful and lovely. The locals were extremely friendly. This was a good, economical rental property.
