Stayed Jun 15, 2025The Slack Tide was the perfect space for our short trip to Acadia. We loved being in the quiet town of Southwest Harbor while also being close enough to explore the sights in Acadia and Bar Harbor. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend the Slack Tide to others, and hope to return again in the future someday.

Stayed Oct 14, 2024Perfect size for our family of 5 with room to spare. Fully stocked with everything you need and then some - my kids loved the games. Walkable to restaurants, shops and my morning coffee. A little bit of a drive to Acadia and bar harbor but easy enough to plan and see everything! Host were very accommodating as we were supposed to come in the summer but the delta airlines tech outage forced us to change plans.

Location was just a short walk to restaurants and shops .The quiet side of MDI lived up to its name.The short drive to park entrance was not a problem and bus service was available if you wanted to leave the car. Not a bad idea in peak season, .

Stayed Sep 8, 2024This house was perfect for our family of five. Southwest harbor was right next door and had everything we would need. It was great to go out adventuring and have this quiet haven to return to. We will definitely be renting here again on our next trip.
