Shop, Swim & Sunbathe: North Port Gem w/ Lanai!

The property was a nice three bedroom home located in a quiet neighborhood. It was well furnished. The owner was very accommodating, easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. We had no problems with the TV, or Wifi/Internet. Plenty of quiet streets to walk or bike in the area. We enjoyed our stay.

Dunsmuir House was exactly as described and in the photos. We stayed for the month of February and particularly enjoyed the quiet area and the scenic view from the lanai. The house, furnishings and appliances were clean and well maintained; the kitchen well equipped; the beds very comfortable. Abundant, good quality towels and linens were supplied. And best of all, the friendly, welcoming owner Cecile was diligent in ensuring that all was to our satisfaction. We had only one issue during our stay that was dealt with immediately. We would definitely recommend this vacation property.

Cecile met us and showed us around home. It was unusually cold for Florida our last night and we couldn't get the heat to work and she came right over. Highly recommend you won't be disappointed.

Nice roomy house, clean, modern, lovely outlook from screened lanai. Once you got used to where you were, found it easy to drive around to reach shopping and attractions. We had a problem with air conditioning, the owner came out immediately to fix and was always concerned that we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Comfy beds clean linen and towels.

To say our experience here was exactly what we needed would be an understatement! If I could rate it a 100, instead of a 5, I would! We stayed 12 nights and found the house to be gorgeous and to have everything we could ever have imagined we’d need and more! Everything about the house was so comfortable and it was in a very quiet, peaceful, and convenient location! We could not have found a more perfect place if we’d looked for months! Most important the owner went way above and beyond anything we could have expected to make our stay easier. We chose this location because it was near our son and daughter-in-law’s house, and they were expecting our first grandson. On the way down they called to tell us we’d lost the baby. When I called to tell Mrs. Cecile, this stranger whom we’d never met, that we had no idea when we’d be arriving from the hospital for check in, she immediately said that was fine and we could check in at anytime that was convenient for us. When we finally arrived to check in, she met us in the driveway with hugs and told us how sorry she was for our loss. She then took us into the house showed us where everything was and how to operate everything. She’d also left a beautiful orchid for us on the bar with a sympathy card! She called or texted multiple times during our stay just to check on us and to see of we needed anything! We’ve rented VRBO’s before but never have we had a host be so kind, considerate, co-operative, and accommodating! This will definitely be our 1st choice when we come to visit again, and we would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone visiting this area! Thanks Mrs. Cecile for EVERYTHING!

A simply fantastic property with all you could need. Clean and well appointed. Cecile is friendly and easy to deal with. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
