Serenity Cottage in Southern Vermont…

Beautiful and peaceful spot with kind hosts. Perfect location, close to civilization but far enough away!A lounge chair to enjoy outdoors would be a great addition. I hope to return!

The host greeted us at the cottage and showed us around inside and outside. It was absolutely adorable and we enjoyed our visit so much.

The cottage was as always the perfect place for me to relax, visit my family and take my dog for walks. It is clean and has everything I need for a comfortable visit.

The cottage is clean, comfortable, and in a nice rural setting just a few minutes from the stores and restaurants of Brattleboro, I-91, and outdoor activities. We appreciated that our two dogs were welcome and they had a great time exploring the yard around the house. Phil and Leslie are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect quiet weekend stay! The convenience of town is about six minutes away while the cottage is in a cozy quiet setting.

What a beautiful home on a perfectly lovely spot with lots of sun! So much space, indoors and outdoors, with plenty of privacy. And getting everywhere you want to go around Brattleboro and southern VT and NH is so easy! Our host Phil was a gem, you can't go wrong with Serenity Cottage!

The cottage was an amazing stay! My girl dog and I had a wonderful stay. We travel through often and would be happy to stay again.

Had a wonderful stay! Would stay again for sure. Lots of space…certainly can accommodate more than two. The microwave was not clean but everything else was spotless. Would have been more convenient if better shower products were provided (shampoo/conditioner/large soap). The driveway got really muddy after warmer temps hit making for quite a mess which we did our best to not track in! We fit in 2 days of cross-country skiing nearby, some winter hiking. shopping and dining…all nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend away in one of our favorite states. Thanks, Phil!

It’s in a convenient location with grocery stores and restaurants nearby, but feels tucked away. The host was very kind and welcoming too! Privacy was great.Kitchen very clean and well equiped. Disapointed with downstairs sleeping accommodation. Elder person could not climb the stairs.

Charming cottage, clean and well maintained. Host responded in a timely manner to emails. I don't know who the quilter is, but there were some beautiful quilts. The cottage had all the comforts of home and we the antique furniture added to the charm. Plenty of space for parking, quiet area; the only thing missing was we didn't see any moose :-). We will definately book here again when we are in the ares.

Our stay was amazing. Such a relaxing property. You don't even feel like you are near a city at all. The drive up is forest-like. The amount of birds we saw was incredible. We were greeted by a deer and a ton of bunnies and chipmunks. The stars were incredible. We were even able to star gaze through the skylights in each bedroom. The Kitchen was big and the living room and couch were perfect. The little room next to living room was super cute, although we didn't get to use it b/c were were only there 2 nights. Be mindful b/c each step is pretty high to go up to the bedrooms. The bathroom was a little dated, but really clean. Owners greeted us from afar which was nice! We loved our stay and will be back for sure.

The cottage is very nice. Great attention to detail with the stair lights, the bedside handheld emergency lamps, etc.Kitchen is clean and well equipped.While cozy, the place was more spacious than we thought and the bedrooms and well sized. Will definitely stay again if we go back to Brattleboro.

Adorable cottage as advertised. Lovely quiet location not far from town and all shops and restaurants. Hiking all around nearby. Did not require help but owners house also on property so I don’t think it would’ve been a problem if we needed anything. Beds were comfy, kitchen perfect. Living room a little challenging for 3 to watch TV comfortably but we made do! Shower was a little cool and not great pressure, but would not detract from stay overall!

This is a lovely cottage in a great location. We enjoyed being in a quiet, well-appointed place with close proximity to restaurants and attractions. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.

This is the perfect property to stay with your dogs! They have all of the basics and some extras such as leashes, dog beds, and reflective gear. The bedrooms were large and the layout works well! Great find in a central location!

We just got back from our first trip as a family, and honestly, this Vermont cottage was everything we hoped for and more. Me, my partner and our dog had such an amazing time at this cozy cottage. We were surprised how spacious it was! It is very private, and quiet which is exactly what we were looking for coming from jersey. We skied at Mount snow which was about 40 minutes away. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Our second stay here. The cottage is clean, comfortable, and wonderfully quiet. We appreciate that it is set apart from town, yet is remarkably only 3-4 minutes drive to food and all our activities in Brattleboro. Love being treated to dark starry nights and misty sunrises. We'll be returning next year!

My friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend, and it was perfect! The house was so cozy and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking our meals during our stay. Communicating with Phil was easy, and checking in and out was simple. The location was beautiful and peaceful. I can’t say enough positive things about this home. We can’t wait to stay here again!

This was a very sweet place to stay while attending the Newfane Heritage Festival. The instructions were clear. The cottage was super clean. Lots of towels and essentials. And Phil gave us good recommendations for places to eat. Thank you Phil!

Quant cottage was exactly what looking for on this trip. Everything you could need was in the house. Easy directions to get to. Absolutely no complaints and will stay again if back in the area!

I booked this for my mother and my sister and they loved it. They enjoyed everything about this property. They also loved that it is close to lots of stuff to do.

Daughter and I came to Brattleboro for a visit with brother/son. Serenity Cottage is situated in middle of locations we would visit. We really enjoyed waking up & sitting outside for morning quiet time. Next we’d take a walk & loved the beautiful area. So quiet, peaceful and relaxing! Brattleboro downtown has some really cute shops too!
