Serene, Hiking, Dreamer at Mentone Free Internet!

I honestly hate leaving a bad review because the host was really nice. However, the property was not clean, the grill was not functional and it overall did not meet expectations given the price. The bed linens and pillows are very cheap. I did send photos of the grill to the host. I looked back on reviews after booking (I know-should have done it sooner) and someone noted the exact issue with the grill as I did. So it is a bit frustrating that it hasn’t been corrected. The cabin could be so much better it just needs a bit more attention. It didn’t ruin our weekend but I would not book this property again.

Much larger than expected and quite comfortable with 4 adults. Very quiet and serene. Mentone shops and cafe nearby. Desoto state park and falls an amazing attraction not far away.

There are some repairs & improvements that the owner should consider. The outdoor grill is in total disrepair and we could not use it. The entry to the front porch needs to be repaired immediately! The rain has washed away much of the sand and stones for the ramp. It is very dangerous to enter and exit. Steps installed would be much more appropriate. Would be nice to have a lamp in the living area. We also, could not get the electric fireplace to come on. Overall we still had a wonderful time and stay! Place was very clean and very adequate for or trip. Definitely enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Kitchen is well equipped with all you need to prepare meals. Plenty of towels and essentials for your use. When ever back in Mentone, will definitely consider this place again!

It was a great getaway! I lost my husband last October 2021 😢 So my Daughter and I and my granddaughter and her friend. We really enjoyed the tiny house it was just what we needed so relaxing 😌 I recommend it highly! I will be coming back!

Everything looks great.Beautiful location for camera lovers.The only thing is to update the exact location in Google maps. We couldn't find the location easily until we use the coordinates in the maps.

Everything was nice, just as pictured, well supplied, good heating & air. The only thing that was not good was an odor that was unpleasant. Not sure where it was coming from, we looked to see if it was something we could take care of and never figured it out. Once that is taken care of it will be a nice place for people to stay.

Such a great place! I stayed for two nights with my children after Christmas and the place was perfect. Well stocked with every day items for cooking. We streamed movies and sat on the deck. Lots of great hiking nearby beautiful area.

Tiny home was beautiful and looked every bit like the photos. Community was quiet and peaceful. Coffee maker and grill couldn’t be used but host agreed to fix those things. Overall we had a great stay

Wonderful place to stay - will definitely book again!

This is a very relaxing and cozy property and we very much enjoyed our stay. However, there were some issues when we arrived. The internet was not working and it took several hours to get back up. The property management worked back and forth with us to fix the problem and the lady was very sweet on the phone, however we didn't have the greatest phone signal and walking around the property in the cold evening air to get a signal was not enjoyable. There were light bulbs burned out, batteries not working in remotes and the hot water valve was turned off under the kitchen sink. We would rent the cute place again, but they need to be inspecting the place for issues more often.

The place was very clean, we did have issues with the wifi connection but they did everything possible to get us connected. Took a long time to get hot water in the kitchen. Over all was a great weekend.

It was a good stay. There were some bugs/ spiders and some dust in the house which was a bummer, but overall we loved the area and the stay was comfortable enough. Beautiful location, would not recommend for toddlers maybe a little older would be better as the ladder isn’t suitable for younger kids. Also the stairs to the porch need to be addressed asap. There are makeshift steps using cinder blocks that would make sense for a temporary use, however these are not safe and loose, I almost fell at least once on my way out. Outside of those few concerns it’s a good stay.

We loved our stay at The Dreamer property. It was the oerfect size space for my husband and I, and great location! The property was well decorated and had plenty of comforts/amenities. It was also very close to cute shops, great restaurants, and great hiking. We’ll definitely be returning!
