Stayed Jul 5, 2025Our party of 5 (3 adults and 2 young children) had a truly lovely stay at Song of the Sea, made all the more special by the celebration of its 150-year anniversary. The landscaping, colorful flowers, and inviting patio gave the home a cheerful, peaceful atmosphere that immediately set us at ease. We took extra care with the stairs, and offered the first floor bedroom to those who might have difficulty with the climb. From the moment we arrived, Linda was attentive in supporting our needs. The porch swing quickly became a favorite gathering spot, perfect for enjoying our morning coffee and sharing evening treats as the day wound down. The short walk to the beach was truly priceless, especially for the little ones, and provided many joyful, spontaneous moments. One of the most meaningful parts of our stay was biking to Sunset Point, where we gathered as a family each evening. Watching the sun dip below the horizon during those quiet golden hours, surrounded by the people we love, held extra significance for us. Song of the Sea was a beautiful sanctuary and place to stay. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

Stayed May 31, 2025Song of the Sea is a beautiful house. We were happy to be there to celebrate her 150th birthday this year. We love the location, so close to the beach you can hear the waves. We love Cape May Point .Linda is a great host. The house is as described and equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. She is a great communicator as well. This was our fourth year staying here and we hope to be back next year.

Stayed Sep 14, 2024I had a fabulous week….spent time on the beach and walking the town. The host has a book that details the history of the town and its homes that I found fascinating. This home is very comfortable and the town is completely residential and unlike most beach towns, it’s full of trees and grass (gasp!). I feel like it’s a well-kept secret! Highly recommend Song of the Sea and Cape May Point. 5/5

Stayed Aug 10, 2024This house is even better than advertised. Very clean, with good spacing for up to 5 adults and 2 kids. The two porches were my favorite part and you very close access to beach! Highly recommend.

Stayed Jul 6, 2024From the minute I walked in I was in love. This 150 year old Victorian has been beautifully updated. All the areas of the house were totally geared to comfort. Loved the screened in porch furnished with comfortable furniture - a great place to have morning coffee and relax. The kitchen was totally equipped with everything you would need, and the bathrooms are top-notch. The property itself is exquisite - beautiful gardens, protected back yard, a shed to store your things, an outside enclosed shower, a shaded patio for outside dining, and a gas grill to boot. The location is perfect - less than a half a block to the beach. In addition the owner is a pleasure to work with - very responsive and a lovely person. Best house I have ever rented, and will again!

Stayed Jun 1, 2024This was our third stay at Song of the Sea . The house is lovely with old time charm and modern amenities. You can hear the ocean as you relax on the screened in porch. The beach is only steps away and early in the season you may be lucky enough to have it all to yourself. Linda is great with communication and the property is as described. We hope to be back soon!

Stayed Aug 5, 2023This historic house is lovely. It was built in 1875 but has been updated with all the modern comforts. The location could not be better, only a few steps from the beach entrance. The host is easy to communicate with and the house has a detailed information book. There is plenty of room inside the house and a backyard, a screen porch, and an upper deck for stargazing. All around a great spot.
