Selah Retreat - Peaceful with a stunning view!

A beautifully situated property with good living space inside and out and a perfect view. Unfortunately there was no swimming pool as listed on your site. For a property of this quality the towels should be better.

Great view of Tasman Sea, quiet neighborhood and comfortable living space!!We walked to the beach for sunset and enjoyed the views from the deck.

We love staying in this house! This was our second stay, and we’ve already booked it to come back next year so that should tell you what you need to know. It is beautiful and so comfortable. We feel like guests in Cliff and Jenni’s home which is just the way you want to feel in a rental.

Very clean and tidy.

Beautiful view from deck and indoors. Clean, well stocked kitchen. Worked well for 2 couples. Enjoyed the two washers and two dryers as we all could do laundry at the same time.

The view is incredible - we stayed here for 5 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The host let us check out an hour later due to our late flight which we really appreciated. Standouts of our experience were the view from the main room, hot tub, and master bedroom view (again) master shower/tub/bathroom. This is a great place!

Clean home. Wonderful deck with ocean views and nice hot tub. Full kitchen was well appointed. Master Suite was comfortable. Would recommend.

We were delighted with our stay at Selah. Communication was excellent and the home certainly lived up to the photos online. Beautiful views and gorgeous furnishings and interior. It was a real haven from what has been a very busy last few months and the feel of the home was just what we needed. Thank you Cliff and Jenny.

Beautiful house and amazing views.

4 good friends, all between 65 and 75, had a 2 day getaway to just have a few nice days together. This was the perfect spot, where we each had our own bedroom, with 3 bathrooms, a beautiful view from the lounge and deck and a spa pool to relax in. It was wonderful.

We loved the home, location and view. This home was fun, and very comfortable. Great advise for food and fun was given by the host. If we decide to return to Nelson we will definitely try to book this again.

Stunning views. That’s what makes this place so special. The view from the master bedroom is unbeatable. We sat on the deck morning and night enjoying the views. The master bedroom has a radiant heat floor. It was really nice that there are two washers and two dryers. We were able to catch up on our laundry, as we were doing a 3 week road trip on the island. Cliff was quick to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend this place.

We wish we could have stayed here longer! This beautiful home was a high point of our trip. The view was amazing, the house was well provisioned with thoughtful touches like coffee for the first day, and a kitchen with everything we needed to prepare meals. We most enjoyed spending time on the deck, and the view from the lovely spa. Everything was sparkling clean, and the host left an instruction book that addressed any questions you might have. The only suggestion I have would be to have enough fans for all the bedrooms in the warmer weather. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The Selah Retreat is a slice of heaven. Unfortunately the beautiful pictures online do not do it justice. Waking up with a view of the entire bay out the master bedroom window, to sitting on the deck with a glass of wine at sunset, to relaxing in the hot tub, this home is just perfect. A wonderful place that makes me wish we could spend much more time in Nelson on our trip from Queenstown to Auckland. Maybe next time it will be our only destination. Cliff and Jenni, thanks for the use of your wonderful home.

We loved our week in this extremely comfortable house! The views are tremendous, the kitchen is well equipped, the furniture is so comfortable, beautiful and interesting art and decorations throughout, and the place feels like a home, not just a rental. The master bedroom is amazing. This home is exactly the type of place that we look for. We loved the Nelson area and can’t wait to come back!

The Selah Retreat was a great place to explore Nelson and the surrounding location. Always nice to enjoy the spectacular view at the end of the day!

We had a great time staying at this beautiful home. The view was stunning and it had everything we needed. There’s a path down to the beach that’s right beside the home, about 10ish minutes, fairly good incline on the way back but not too much trouble. Overall a wonderful spot!

We loved everything about this property. The beds were very comfy, the linen beautiful, the views incredible. We would definitely stay again and oh did I mention the main bedroom- very hard to get out of bad.
