Welcome to your Sea Ranch escape. This 2BR/2.5BA house sleeps up to 5 and pairs sea views and a soothing hot tub with access to The Sea Ranch’s coastal trails, beaches, and recreation centers.



The Space:

Ideal for a relaxed seaside getaway, this comfortable home offers two private bedrooms (each with an ensuite bathroom) plus a pull-out couch for extra sleeping flexibility. The main living area is simple and inviting for time together, with space tounwind after a day on the trails or beach. Step out to enjoy fresh coastal air, sea views, and an outdoor hot tub.

The kitchen opens toward the living and dining areas so you can stay connected while preparing meals. Both bedrooms feature outdoor access—one to a deck and one to a patio—so everyone can greet the day with a breath of ocean air. Additional conveniences include Wi-Fi, a DVD player for movie nights, a washer/dryer, and driveway parking. An outdoor BBQ grill makes easy work of casual dinners at home. Heating is provided by space heaters in every room and a fireplace in the living room. This home does not have central heat.

Important Things to Note

• Parking: Driveway parking only in the fenced driveway, for up to 2 vehicles. Sea Ranch does not allow overnight street parking, and there is no additional parking beyond what’s described.

• Stairs: Stairs are required within the home. Please see photos for reference.

• Wi-Fi & Cell Service: Wi-Fi is provided; however, due to Sea Ranch’s remote coastal location, internet speed and cell service can be spotty or occasionally unavailable.

• Sea Ranch Amenities: Guests can enjoy the community’s trail system and six public beach access points. Three recreation centers offer outdoor pools and additional amenities (vary by center). Tennis court reservations are available via the Sea Ranch Association website.

• Washer/Dryer: A stackable washer and dryer are provided in the home.

• Pet Policy: This home is not pet friendly. Please plan; accordingly, bringing a pet may result in additional cleaning charges.

• Check in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We cannot guarantee or approve early check in or late checkout requests in advance.

• We recommend considering travel insurance, just in case any unexpected changes come up. We do stick to our cancellation policy and want to make sure you're covered!

• We provide bedding, towels and a small starter set of essentials to help get you settled. Feel free to message us for details on what’s included.

• Salt, pepper, and cooking oil are not provided unless otherwise noted.

    It was just the 2 of us, but the open space living room/ dining room/ kitchen would be great for socializing- a family or 2 couples. Nice clean & hot jacuzzi accessible from patio doors from both bedrooms. I appreciated the well-organized notebook full of info about Sea Ranch & nearby— hikes, shops, history, poetry, photography… you can tell the owners live this area & want to share it.

    The house itself is perfectly fine, comfortable and with a good view of the ocean and meadow. The issues I have are with the communication (or lack of) with the management. They did not seem to want to give out information unless I specifically asked for it, which resulted in our having to leave a day early because of road work that they had neglected to tell us about. I'm not a fan of keyless entry as every time I have encountered it there have been problems, and this time was no exception. The door code they had given me did not work, and they had to try two more before we found one that did. But it only worked for a week, and then they had to give me yet another one. I also had to upload a photo of my passport before they would give me check-in instructions, which made me very uncomfortable as I had never dealt with them before and had no way of knowing whether it was a scam. I would gladly stay in this house again if it were under different management. One good thing though: they did offer to refund me for the unused last day of our stay, since it was their lack of communication which caused the problem. Perhaps they will do better in future.

    House was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Appreciated all the notes. Since I'm technologically challenged, I would have also appreciated notes on the TV :) Hot tub was great!

    We had a wonderful stay at your home. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and supplies. I loved that the house is close to the ocean so that we can walk along the coastline. A few things though: We got checked in at 4p. The house inside was cold. The instructions say to turn OFF the Central Heat, but there isn't one in this house to turn it on. We finally realized there was a space heater upstairs and on/off knobs in the bathrooms downstairs. There were small pieces of kindling to start a fire for that afternoon, however there wasn't any pieces of paper to start the kindling. We had to go to a store the next morning in Gualala for fire starter and kindling. Paying this amount nightly I really would have thought that these two items would have been stocked. Lastly the TV - How can anyone watch TV with it mounted to the wall! The four of us would have to move chairs in a row in front of the TV to see it! The TV mounted to the wall needs to be replaced with a swivel so that you (we) can sit on the sofa and be comfortable.

    Spiders and crickets. Power outage. Fine print in contract. Vrbo customer support hung up on my call, refused to answer following calls. and never tried to contact me personally.
