Sea La Vie | Shared Pools, Walk to Beach!

This house is very roomy! It was clean. Beds were comfy. Property management was available by phone and very responsive with any issues or questions had. One con, the downstairs shower leaked water under the shower door, out into the hallways and out into the garage. It seems this was not the first time by the way the tiles look. After discovering this, we called immediately, maintenance man came a few hours later and took pictures and left. I guess we didn’t really expect them to repair it right then and there because it looks like that may involve some renovation.so, we could not use it anymore. So more people had to share the upstairs hallway bathroom than expected. It was ok for us, we’re all family. One more con, they were very stingy with bath towels. Not alot provided. And one kitchen dish towel was all we had in the kitchen. Perhaps that’s the norm, not sure.. we did have a great time. Short drive to beach. I left a large item which they mailed back to me, and i sincerely appreciate them doing so! (at my expense which I was happy to pay). Would probably stay again just hope the bathroom leak would be repaired.

The neighborhood is gated so it was extremely safe. If someone wasn’t staying there they couldn’t get in. Everything was neat, clean and very spacious. It’s a very relaxing place with all the amenities. If you want to go out to eat most places were less than 10 minutes away. Everyone loved this place.

Such a pretty place to stay with family with plenty of comfortable seating. Absolutely enjoyed the property.

The property was nice once I was able to gain access but VRBO and Silver Sands created a situation in which I was double booked and neither company was very helpful in resolving the issue. Communication was terrible and the ordeal cost me quite a bit of money and made my vacation memorable for all the wrong reasons. I will never book with either company again.

Well appointed decor. Nice size rooms and layout. Kitchen was well stocked. Nice to have two sets of w/d. Loved the heated swimming pools. Had a lot of toys and outdoor games. The ping pong table was a real hit. Liked all the outdoor seating. A negative comment was that the floor was dirty and all the mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable.

Honestly the house itself was very nice. It was big, clean and well equipped. There were a few hiccups getting into the property. It was a little frustrating but we eventually gained access. (it didn't help that it was just hot outside waiting. If we could have all waited at the pool and had someone notify us when the house was open, that might have been better, but i was told they manage a lot of properties and I needed to be at the door. The back lock also did not work in the garage so we were very nervous locking the house anytime we left. There was a significant leak in the kitchen from the ceiling. Luckily the maintenance person was still there and was able to correct the problem right away. We cleaned up the mess and had a great time for the remainder of the trip. The A/C was cold. We had 12 (kids and adults). Everyone had a place to sleep and there was room at the dining room table and in the living room. We enjoyed the outside area as well. The house is close to the beach with the golf cart and close to Port Aransas activities. The community pool is across an alley so very convenient. We were able to upgrade the free golf cart for a fee and pay for a second so we had enough for all of us. This is a gated community which helps with feeling safe. We were a group of women with children and always felt safe. They have security as we saw them driving around. All in all we made many great memories here.

Love the house and location. Silver Sands makes it easy. This years golf cart was a disappointment but other than that….awesome.

My family of 11 loved this home. Due to health reasons we needed a home with a kitchen and bedroom on the first floor and this home was perfect for us. The home has four bedrooms but the sofa bed upstairs is in a space with a partial door so it feels like a 5 bedroom home if you are good with a sofa bed. There was plenty of extra pillows and linens to use the sofa bed as well. They have Netflix and a great sound system on the TV so we enjoyed family movies while cooking.
