Screen porch, Ping-Pong, 2 Living areas with TVs, Coastal Chic - 29 Twin Oaks

We were pleasantly surprised with the great location-not only private but also close to amenities! The house was everything we needed and honestly, I just wish we could have stayed longer!!

First, the positives: The property was absolutely wonderful and well kept. In fact, the house exceeded our expectations! The property is located in a beautiful community, and it is a very quick and pleasant walk to the beach and also to nearby restaurants and shops. The check-in process was great, and the property management company left very nice items for us ($100 gift card, sunscreen, etc). Again, this exceeded our expectations! Unfortunately, however, we did see a large cockroach scamper across the floor one evening. Fortunately, we were able to catch it and release it outside. When we came back inside, we asked our son where the cockroach came from and he pointed to an area between the kitchen and master bedroom. We looked on the floor where he pointed and saw another smaller cockroach dead under a small table. I contacted the property management company via text regarding the cockroaches (with a picture of the dead cockroach), and they replied stating they would send the pest control company out the next day (the day of our departure). I don’t know what I expected to hear from the property management company, but I was surprised at how cavalier their response seemed to be. If not for the cockroaches, I would definitely give this property a 5-star review.

Great cottage - pictures were very accurate. Having 3 children Ed really enjoyed the two large large sofas in the separate living room. The two dining tables were also a a nice edition. Out you get child enjoyed riding her bike in the quiet c

This property is managed professionally, and that was apparent and appreciated. Excellent communication about check in and checkout protocol. When we had confusion about the outdoor shower (which was frankly our fault not theirs) they called right away and told us what to do. The furnishings are modern, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is very well-appointed. The property is a 10 minute walk from the ocean. Know that if you rent through vrbo you will be unable to access the resort amenities (tennis courts, pool, etc.) - which the property management did communicate up-front, we just weren't paying attention. This is not a big deal - there are public tennis courts not far away which we used, and who needs a pool with the ocean nearby? We had a fantastic time at this property, and particularly enjoyed the ping pong table!

Really enjoyed the property. Very clean and well cared for. We had one issue with the microwave dying but property management brought a replacement within an hour.

This was the nicest house that I have ever rented. Everything was perfect. The house was equipped with everything that we needed. Will definitely stay again!

This home is centrally located - a short walk to tennis, bike rentals and the sweet grass hotel. We've stayed in several homes in this neighborhood and this one is by far the best. The home is well appointed and clean with all the kitchen items you'll need. The grill and ping pong table and finished porch were big bonuses. And the management company was quick to respond for a couple of minor issues that we had. Highly recommended.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home on Twin Oaks. The home was clean, well appointed and in a great location near the pools, beach and other resort amenities. I’d highly recommend it for anyone looking to vacation on Isle of Palms.
