Salty Rem's Beach House! New Pool, Dog Friendly, Beach Views & Golf Cart Section

Our group was me, my daughter and son-in-law, and their two young children. The unit was clean and comfortable and less than a quarter of a mile from the beach. We were two blocks off the beach, but the ocean was visible from each of the balconies. We had a couple of questions after we arrived, and the owner responded very quickly. I liked that the bathroom towels selected by the owner were large, thick Maker's Mark towels from Sam's Club as opposed to the thin cheap hotel towels that many property management companies use. In addition, each of the three bathrooms had one full roll of toilet paper on the holder and one extra behind the toilet. We had taken extra rolls, but we didn't have to use them. Plates, bowls, and utensils were nice. Some of the cooking pans are due for a replacement, but we had an electric skillet with us, so we were in good shape. The pool is small, but it was perfect for my 4-year-old and 5-year-old grandchildren. (Bigger kids would probably want something larger, but you go to the beach for the ocean, right?) They could splash and play and work on their budding swimming skills. We spent more time than expected in the pool because from Wednesday through our departure on Saturday, the strong winds and currents led to red flag conditions that kept us out of the surf (and off the beach when the wind-blown sand got to be too much). I would definitely recommend Salty Rem as a good place to stay on St. George Island.

Salty Rem's was a great place for our family vacay

We loved everything about this property!!! The house was spotless. Pool area was great and it was a really easy walk to public beach access.

We had an amazing time at 'the Salty Rem's!' House is in a perfect location, walking distance to the beach or a short golf cart ride to the restaurants and stores. We enjoyed the heated pool during our stay and our dog got to join in on the fun also! The house was clean, the view was good, the master bed comfortable and it has all the amenities needed. Very relaxing. Happy we got to enjoy the island!

This property is everything the listing says and more . Clean , quiet and super comfortable .

The rental was good. The space looked mostly like the photos. Though the kitchen felt a bit more worn in person. It was clean enough , though not spotless. The beds were comfortable and provided a great nights sleep. The bathrooms were clean and the tile work was nice. The bath towels were a good quality and very much appreciated . Check in was easy and communication with Becky was very good.The pool was a nice compliment to the stay. And the location was just 2 short blocks to the beach. The property overall was basic. Nothing extra was provided. Just the bare minimum. With a refresh and attention to detail it would be excellent. Probably the biggest complaints were no bath soap in the showers and no pool towels . So pack your own. A few small touches would go a long way. All in all we went for a quiet relaxing getaway and that was accomplished.

We really enjoyed our fall break stay. Host is very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. We traveled with 3 teenagers, everyone had their own space, it was great! We would go back or recommend to a friend.
