St Elmo Getaway-Dog and Cat Friendly

It was very nice. Comfortable for all of us. We enjoyed the park across the street.The only thing wrong was that the bathroom sink drained VERY slowly.

We enjoyed our stay in St. Elmo. Pat was very communicative. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear. The house was clean and cozy and met our needs. The location was fantastic. Would stay here again. Thank you so much!

WHEN WE FIRST GOT IN THRU THE FRONT DOOR, THE BACK DOOR WAS UNLOCKED. THE SINK IN THE BATHROOM GOT STUCK WITH THE WATER OF THE FAUCET. THE COVER PILLOWS FROM THE BEDROOM WERE FULL OS DOG OR CAT HAIR. WE REALLY FELT IT NEEDED MORE CLEANLINESS. THE ROOM SMELLED A LITTLE BIT LIKE AMONIA WITH PERFUME. I GUESS THEY SPRAYED WITH SOMETHING TO HIDE PET ODORS..

Overall, the duplex was fine. Clean in the critical places, and a convenient (if somewhat noisy) location. My biggest complaint is that the unit smells strongly of cigarette smoke. The weather was nice, so I opened all the windows for the afternoon while I hiked, and that was enough to not be unpleasant. The owner did not respond to messages via the app for over 24 hrs, but was responsive over text.

Perfect location. The space had everything i needed for my stay. I loved the park across the street which made it easy to take my dog for quick walks.

Great location in very cute neighborhood. Close to guild trail and Virginia Ave greenway.

Overall it was a good stay

The location was perfect for the mountain biking, hiking and waterfalls we wanted to do as well as some other area attractions - some which were just minutes away. Too bad a few were closed during our stay for maintenance or due to fire - Raccoon Mountain, Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge and Inclined Railway. The house was good for what we needed while in the area including being reasonably priced. Just note the walls are thinner than I would have liked - can hear the neighbors walking around. The host/contact was quick to help us with a bed issue in the room our son was sleeping in. We will be back to the Chattanooga area again.

The location of this property was so convenient to all the attractions we wanted (less than 10 minutes to Rock City and Ruby Falls) to see as well as being close to downtown. Added bonus was that it is dog friendly

This was a great location near cool restaurants and easy highway access. It gave our cats a great place to decompress between long drives. If there was anyone in the adjoining property, we never heard them. Would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed here twice with our dogs and are so thankful to have found a comfortable place in a nice neighborhood for traveling with pets! The only note I have is that the kitchen doesn't have a ton of supplies or a toaster, so if you're staying for longer than a day or two or if you cook a lot you end up doing dishes all the time.

Nice place, everything was clean and checkin was easy. Loved the park across the street and nearby hiking trails. There is however a lot of traffic on this road.

The house was in decent condition but i did not realize it was a duplex and i would not rent it again because of that. The neighbors children were very loud and startled my teenager, made him think someone was in our house. Anstartled dog a lot

Very satisfied with our stay here! Terrific location in Chattanooga, great price point, and good communication. Would recommend or return to this property!

We had the best time here! We enjoyed how closed everything was and the park across the street was a bonus for our 3 year old!
