Rural House La Barraca de Farena near the Beach in Palafrugell

Nestled in the heart of the Costa Brava, La Barraca de Farena is a charming country cottage surrounded by nature, just 1 km from Palafrugell and 1.5 km from the idyllic beaches of Llafranc, Calella, and Tamariu. The large private garden (8,500 m², with 4,000 m² fully fenced) is perfect for unwinding, relaxing in the hammock, or enjoying the garden at sunset. Open year-round, it accommodates up to 4 guests and 2 pets (on request). For community reasons, it is not rented to guests under 25 or for parties.



The house (60 m² + 15 m² porch) features a fully equipped kitchen-diner with complete cookware, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster. The bathroom has a spacious shower with sliding screen, washing machine, iron, and hairdryer. The bedroom offers a comfortable queen-size bed (cots and high chairs available on request). In the living room, you will find a double sofa bed, TV, DVD, high-speed Wi-Fi, ceiling fans, pellet stove, and fireplace for cooler nights. Free private parking is available.



Outside, there are loungers, a hammock, outdoor shower, and a storage room for your own bikes or to rent up to 2 bikes available at the house for an additional charge. The area offers water sports such as diving, paddle surfing, kayaking, or open water swimming.



Nearby, you will find natural parks, dog-friendly beaches, and Palafrugell’s rich cultural attractions: the Cork Museum, Vila Casas Foundation, and Josep Pla House-Museum. Don’t miss the Cap Roig Botanical Garden in Calella or the Sant Sebastià monument in Llafranc, with its lighthouse and spectacular sea views 170 m above the coast.
