Keywords: Charming home in Rugby Hills neighborhood. Within a mile of University Rotunda and Barracks RD. Quiet wood setting, back patio, and nicely furnished.
This was a fantastic place to stay - close to the university for the graduation ceremony, comfortable, clean, and it was nice to have the extra space that we wouldn't get in a hotel room. Our dog came too and it's a nice fenced in yard which worked out perfectly. It's also a great neighborhood for running or walking.
My goddaughter and I spent the weekend there to visit friends and family. We both lived there at one time, and enjoyed seeing all the special places we remember. Loved the house. Had everything we needed. Great location. Would stay there again if we return.
Loved the house! Well-appointed and very comfortable, we felt right at home! Very quiet neighborhood and centrally located for everything we needed. Yard was great for the dogs. Communication with Abbey was great! Would absolutely stay here again!
We really enjoyed this home - it was cozy and close to everything as we visited our uva kid. Thank you!
This house was a perfect home base for our summer visit to Charlottesville. It sits in a nice neighborhood close to campus, shopping, and the historic downtown district.
We loved this place, fantastic fully fenced in yard for our dog. Abbey was very friendly and accommodating!
Loved the quaint street and location. Loved the decor. Very walkable. The beds were comfortable and kitchen well supplied. TV room was great. Heater helped with chilly nights. Exterior needs a little TLC but didn’t take away from our fun stay.
We stayed last Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and so we decided to repeat the trip. The house is well furnished and sits within a nice neighborhood not far from U Va and shopping.
Lovely stay—family of 3. Loved neighborhood, access by car quickly to campus and stores. Kitchen is small but had everything we needed one night to host a simple dinner for friends. Would definitely stay again. Host was a breeze to communicate with and made everything easy!
Wonderful stay in Charlottesville, perfect cottage for a couple and pups. Very highly recommend and would surely book again!
The house was clean and perfect for our family of 4 including 2 college age sons. The 2 bedroom house had plenty of room for all of us and our 2 labs. It was a great place to relax and visit with our sons. We had a wonderful time just hanging out, going to a UVA football game and BBQing. We would definitely book the house again.
My pack (adults and pups) all enjoyed staying at this location. It is super convenient to everything in Charlottesville. The fence was good for the pups. (I have tall dogs and the fence is a little short in the front, so I just stood outside with them for supervision. There are a few weak spots in the back if you have a dog who is an escape artist.) The neighborhood is great for walks! Inside the house was very clean and comfortable. The couches and bed were great! The shower has good water pressure too!
Close enough to walk to UVA. So easy to get anywhere in town! Clean and perfect.
We were in Charlottesville preparing to put a house on the market. We had our dog and cat and the host was kind and available and let us continue adding days as needed. The fenced in front and backyard certainly help the situation!
Nice quiet neighborhood that was really close to restaurants, etc. We will stay here again!
My friends and I booked the cottage for a UVA reunions weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property is very quaint and charming. Hands down, the best part was the beds, they were SO comfortable. It's a 30ish minute walk to the Corner, which was great for some morning exercise, but also a very quick Uber ride when we didn't feel like walking. Very quiet and nice neighborhood as well. Great communication with the host, very easy check-in and check-out process. Overall would definitely recommend if staying in C-ville and/or visiting UVA!
We loved this property in Charlottsville. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We appreciated all the extra touches and the length the owner went to make this feel like a home away from home. Our puppy loved it too!
Tucked into a perfect neighborhood close to downtown and within an easy drive to Monticello/UVA. Perfect fully fenced in front and backyard for the pups.
