Romantic, Walk to town and beach (Akari#4)

Great location and the host was available when we had questions right away.

Everything was great, all amenities were perfect, bathroom was a little small but that was the only thing I would say is a drawback, perfect location, walking distance to everything

This is the absolute BEST location in Long Beach. You can walk to the beach or any of the cute shops. There’s a really delicious bakery/deli you can get to in less than a couple minutes on foot! We loved it! Someone commented about an odor in #4. That was not an issue for us. We did not have any odd smells. The bathroom is a little tight but honestly it has everything you need. The deck was a wonderful spot for morning coffee and a croissant from Dylan’s Cottage Bakery. That’s a must stop place. The host was wonderful to work with and attentive. I would love to stay there again! You will not find a better location.

I stayed at this charming little bungalow for a solo weekend and it was exactly what I needed. It’s clean, cozy, and perfectly located—quiet enough to feel like a retreat, but still close to local cafes, shops, and walking paths.The space is thoughtfully decorated with warm touches that make it feel like home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I especially loved reading by the window—a perfect spot to relax with a book or morning coffee.Everything was spotless, and the host clearly pays attention to the details.This place is ideal if you’re looking for a peaceful, solo escape.

This is a great location for a weekend getaway. We were close to everything - the beach, restaurants, and everything else. This particular cottage was cute but very small, so be prepared. The toilet is not properly sealed to the floor, so we had to keep the door closed because sewer gas smells would waft into the room. We would stay here again but not in Cottage #4.

Plusses: You are a block away from shops, restaurants, mini golf, etc., a short walk from the beach or you can drive and there's plenty of parking, property is in a safe place, bungalow is clean and smells nice. Great kitchen area with what we needed to heat up leftovers. Loved the convection oven unit. We also loved the adirondack chairs on the deck. Bed is comfortable and we got good sleep. The property manager is available by text or phone and checks on you often to make sure your stay is going well. Drawbacks: Ladies, if you need a large amount of space to get ready, it's not happening here. The bathroom is tiny. If the property put a mirror above the dresser, that would be ideal so that while one person is showering, the other can spread out and get ready there. Only one person fits in the bathroom at a time (think RV bathroom or smaller). It would be nice if the bathroom had more hooks to hang towels on and a shower organizer to hang on the showerhead for necessities. I put my products in the sink and popped my hand out to get each product as needed. For me (I'm not high maintenance), this set up was tricky but doable. I wish they had a smart TV rather than just cable, but we found movies to watch on the cable provided. Overall, I gave this place five stars because the drawbacks weren't non-negotiables for me.
