In 2022, the tranquility of Yellowstone was shattered by an unprecedented flood that swept through the iconic national park. Triggered by a combination of natural forces and environmental shifts, the deluge left a trail of destruction in its wake. Campgrounds were submerged, wildlife habitats disrupted, and cherished landscapes forever altered. River Rose, unfortunately, fell victim to the devastating flood. After a 20-month journey marked by diligent cleaning, extensive rebuilding efforts, a couple of additions, and an abundance of hard work, River Rose welcomes guests once more.
Please note that there is a 5 night minimum stay in the summer.

Aptly named, spectacular, peaceful setting
Awesome!!!
It was my husbands 70th birthday so we decided to stay right on the river so he could fly fish in the backyard. We stayed for the 2 weeks in the beginning of October and when we arrived it was 75 and when we left it was snowing. We have been coming to the Paradise Valley for the last 5 years and this is our favorite home. We spent most of our time on the back porch watching the river, the eagles flying up and down the river, otters playing along the shore and beavers coming out of their den just outside the window and swimming up stream. The living area was very large and we had room to spare with only the 2 of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to do some cooking, loved the griddle on the gas stove. The heater and A/C worked great along with the fans in all rooms. The property was very large with horses grazing in the front and side yard. The water in the river was pretty low since there had not been much rain but my husband was able to walk across the rocks to do his fishing. He caught many white fish and had a great time at it. The house is located 20 mins from Livingston and 30 from Gardiner, most of the time we stopped at the Emigrant General Store for miscellaneous items. Make sure you eat at the Old Saloon and have a few beers at the Outpost and check out the Wildflower Bakery for a muffin or scone. The caretaker Cowboy Mike was great along with his dog Seger. Wonderful trip!
We loved the cabin and the surroundings. We spent a couple of days just hanging out and fishing in the beautiful river. Downside lots of bugs outside but I guess that’s expected when you are right on a river. 7 of us were comfortable here for 5 night stay. Loved the kitchen with stocked with lots of basics plenty of dishes and cooking supplies. Amazing experience!!
We look forward to another visit next summer!
Location is great for trout fishing. The views are phenomenal. Only thing lacking is a hammock. ?
Was beautiful and quite
Such an amazing and beautiful location! So peaceful and idyllic beside the River with the mountains in the background. Caretaker Mike was awesome and took care of us well!
We loved everything about this home and location! The views of the river from the house are incredible from many rooms. The horse ranch grounds surrounding the house were so pastoral! The fishing was amazing along the river. The kitchen was very well equipped and the open floor plan worked well for our family to gather. The only complaint was that the dishwasher was extremely dirty and the frying pans need to be replaced. They were pretty gross. Everything else needed was there so we felt very much at home. Highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!
We had an excellent stay at this location. House was very nice and being on the river was great for our fishing trip. Localproperty rep was very nice in answering our questions. Would highly recommend this property.
