The owner was very welcoming, explained the cabin rules, and giving knowledgeable insights into visiting Yellowstone and the area. The cabin was well stocked with kitchen basics and the water from the faucet was fresher than bottled. Save some $ and cut down on buying bottled water and salt/pepper.

The host was super informative, available and very nice. The cabin really puts you in the element of being in Montana - Exactly what I was looking for. The cabin was the perfect size for 3 of us and I loved sitting outside on the back deck, watching the stream of water go by. I would love to stay here again in the future.

Everything was great. The hostess was friendly, helpful and a delight. I was expecting it to be a little more remote but there were other houses that were very close. Strongly recommend!!!

Perfectly appointed (towels, utensils, bedding, coffee stuff, porch and patio by the burbling Emigrant creek) quiet and partially fenced for privacy and just over a mile to Chico Hotsprings resort and just over the hill from the western movie set (tours by appointment). Great bed!

The cabin was awesome. It was small but cozy and well appointed. For us the location was perfect. We were there for Yellowstone, fishing, and a couple of concerts at the fabulous Pine Creek Lodge and it was perfect for all 3. Under 10 minutes to Emigrant fishing access on the Yellowstone River, 40 minutes to YNP, and 20 minutes to Pine Creek Lodge. It was about 30 minutes to Livingston. Its directly behind Chico Hot Springs so a quick soak or a drink is 5 minutes away, and easy to find. The Cabin itself is an authentic yet updated 19th century homestead cabin thoughtfully decorated and situated on a fast running stream in Old Chico; a ghost town with a few residents scattered along the road. It has a very private and quiet feel with just a spectacular view. Sarah creatively created a stay that made you feel right at home yet a part of the landscape. Sitting on the porch was peaceful and quiet. There is a great assortment of interesting books about the area, including fiction information and photography. My wife stayed behind one day and lazed about enjoying the quiet. The kitchen is small, but very serviceable. We cooked several meals there and did not find it lacking. What was nice is that the utensils and plates were of decent quality, and not the thrift store junk found in most rentals. There was was room for my wife and I and our 18 year old son. I would say that sleeping 5 would be tight, unless ot was 3 small kids.

The Teacherage Cabin is an ideal place to stay for an individual or small group. It is charming, well maintained and appropriately rustic in appearance without being rustic in function. My sister, niece and I enjoyed every aspect to include the propane stove, cool loft, and overall ambience. The location is also great for hiking, trips to Chico Hot Springs, and general beauty. Sarah is a perfect host, both relaxed and helpful. We will come again.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It is quiet, clean, safe, warm (or cold as you prefer), and it has everything you will need to be happy. The drive down the road to Chico Springs is very convenient, and can even be walked if you're into nice long walks. The drive to the Yellowstone Park entrance is a bit of a long one, but we felt it was worth it to be in such a nice cabin and away from any crowds or noise. The bbq grill works great, we used it twice with no problems at all. The kitchen may look small and rugged, but it has all you need to cook anything - and it's a great floorplan for families because you can all sit around the dining table and talk to the cook. Lots of hot water, towels, tp, etc.. Sarah gives a great overview of what to expect and she also just comes across as a fun and friendly neighbor you can call on anytime you have questions. Make sure you read about her in the book at the cabin, she's a tough one that Sarah... We will be back I believe, it was too special not to do it all over again. Russ, Lan, Sue and Polly :0)

Here's a summary of your experience in English: --- I recently spent 10 wonderful days in a fantastic cabin near Yellowstone Park in Montana. The stay was incredibly well-organized, and the hostess was thoughtful and provided excellent tips about Yellowstone and the surrounding area. The cabin’s rural setting was absolutely stunning, offering peace and tranquility, yet it was still conveniently close to Yellowstone and many other attractions. It was a truly amazing experience, and we’re already longing to return. I highly recommend this place – all the photos are 100% accurate!

The cabin was the perfect getaway for our first but hopefully not last trip to Montana. Very peaceful and relaxing listening to the creek flowing while enjoying time on the back porch. Cabin is stocked very well and certainly felt cozy.
