Stayed Aug 4, 2025Beautiful place! The host welcomed us and gave us a quick tour, showing where everything is. Then, he left us alone. The cabin was very clean and easy to live in for the 4 days we were there. We couldn't ask for a more peaceful place to spend time, whether it was drinking morning coffee on the porch or by the riverside, watching the eagles and even a beaver, or spending evenings watching deer and again, the eagles. We would come again!!

Stayed Jul 31, 2025Crabapple Cabin is definately an authentic cabin. It was originally in Yellowstone. Ralph bought it an had it moved to the current location. It is located along the Yellowstone River. There was lots of trees, wildlife, shade, access to fishing and lots of rest, relaxation, and quietness. Made our adventure to Montanna even more enjoyable and authentic staying in the cabin. Would highly recommend this cabin!

Stayed Jul 5, 2025We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in this cottage by the river. The cottage has everything you need and is well equipped for travelers. Loved sitting in the chairs next to the river in the shade everyday. Several nice restaurants and fun music venues close by. Really pleased with visit to Yellowstone Hot Springs and rafting down the Yellowstone River. Fly fishing was great. Pine Creek never disappoints. Perfect time in Montana as always!

Stayed May 21, 2025We enjoyed our week's stay at Crabapple Cabin. Our dogs enjoyed the large backyard to run around and play fetch. The cabin was the perfect distance from Yellowstone, Livingston, and hiking in the mountains. We enjoyed learning about the history of the cabin and watching the wildlife. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay at a very beautiful setting.

Stayed Oct 5, 2024We had a wonderful week at Crabapple Cabin. For a private spot along the Yellowstone River, it can't be beat. Our dog loved the large yard and we loved the views of the river and the Beartooth Mountains to the east and the Gallatins to the west. The cabin is small but comfortable. Jackie and Ralph are wonderful hosts. All was great!

Stayed Sep 23, 2024A cozy cottage on the water. I was able to get some writing done and got some wonderful rest. I went into Bozeman for the day to do some things, took a nearby hike, and the best was watching my dogs. Have such an incredible time. The cabin has everything you need in the bed was so delicious look comfy. Jackie is a very gracious hostess! I will most certainly be back, and send friends!

Stayed Sep 10, 2024Two of us who were on a guys road trip stayed at the Crabapple Cabin so we could fish the Yellowstone River. The river access from this cabin is incredible. You can fish from the bank right in front of the cabin and catch fish or you can walk the bank up and down the river. We used waders so we could fish in the water and go up and down the river that way as well. The cabin is in a great location in Paradise Valley with many other fishing access points within an easy drive. The cabin itself has everything you will need for your stay. The bedroom situation for two guys to stay there wasn't ideal but we made it work. The outside deck is awesome. We had mule deer in the yard everyday and could watch other wildlife as well. The owners are close by and are very easy to reach in case you need anything. Emigrant has a great BBQ restaurant, bakery, saloon and a convenience store that has a good selection. The fly shop there is great as well for all of your fly fishing needs.

Stayed Aug 5, 2024My husband and I had an incredible stay at Crabapple Cabin with our dog. The cabin was comfortable and welcoming, in fact we extended our stay 2 days after we just didn't want to leave! Jackie and Ralph were incredible hosts, communication was always very quick and easy. The location is perfect, right on the river, and you can fish off the bank easily. There's also a public fishing spot a few properties down that gives more space if needed. Short distance to shopping in Bozeman, dining in Livingston, and grabbing coffee and pastries in Emigrant. Tons of wildlife in the surrounding areas, eagles, elk, deer and grizzlies. Can't wait to come back!

Stayed May 29, 2024Relaxing, quiet, beautiful view, great location near where my son lives. My husband loved the fishing he usually uses a fly rod but was just fine with the poled. So quaint and adorable. One thing but not a complaint wished there was closet space. But over all a 10 +. We loved it.❤️❤️❤️
