Rest and Be Thankful - Cozy Retreat Near Downtown

It exceeded my expectations! Great place, great location!

The house was great exactly like the pictures.

Everything was great. Excellent communication with the host - very responsive. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there.

Everyone had room to sleep well—even extra beds in case one needed it (snoring, family members who stay up late). Be careful with the steep driveway and camber. If anyone has bum knees or mobility issues, it can be tricky. The interior stairs have short treads and are quite narrow on the corner. It was fine, just have to take care. Hot tub was great. Watch for the large ants on the porch decks. They bite.

The home was great to stay in, it was laid out well for all my family and friends coming in for my son's graduation.I would book this location again.

The house was nice. The driveway was very steep. Very hard to maneuver. The road into the subdivision is very curvy and steep.

This house is well suited to accommodate 8 people within its four bedrooms. There are two additional beds in a loft but it is an opened area without privacy. Adequate number of bathrooms. There are 3 levels so guest must be able to handle stairs. All necessary amenities included. Very close to downtown Helen and to the Anna Ruby Falls. Best to initially access the property during daylight due to small and winding roads. Driveway is on a steep incline which I suspect could be treacherous during snow or ice storm. Driveway can easily hold 4 vehicles (as stated in the description) but later we were told only 3 vehicles were allowed. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend.

We enjoyed the property. It was exactly what it said.

My family really enjoyed our stay at this house. The layout is perfect for these types of gatherings. The bedrooms are spacious and each was connected, or close to, a private bathroom. So no one had to share. The kitchen was well equipped and the family area was comfortable. We also enjoyed sitting out on the screened in porch. The area was very quiet. The roads leading up to the house are quite curvy and the driveway is steep. So if you are more accustomed to a flat area, it can be a little challenging. But it is manageable.

It was a family reunion. And space was wonderful.

Very nice but dirty

Lovely property. Amazing kitchen with lots of extras. Great dining table to accommodate our crowd. Very comfortable beds in all bedrooms. Enjoyed some hot tub time. Driveway was very steep. We recommend this beautiful places for a friends & family gathering.
