Renovated Old Village Charmer, 1 mile to Shem Creek

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. Minutes away from fantastic restaurants, walks to Shem Creek and Pitt street bridge, and of course historic Charleston. The owners even provided a welcome basket with snacks and information about the area. The neighborhood is quiet and the fenced yard was a plus. It was nice to be able to bring our dog along on this trip. Wish we could have stayed longer.

As a new listed VRBO this place was great. We went there as 3 girls for the Cooper River Bridge Run and the accommodations were perfect. The house is warm and comfortable. The front porch outside table was amazing for enjoying our take out meals. We easily could walk to Shems Creek and Pitt St Bridge. You can see the hard work the owners are putting into the property. I would absolutely return!

We loved the location of this rental. It was close to everything. Host was great to respond to any information we needed. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. It is in a quiet neighborhood so we had great sleep at night. Air conditioning or heat (if needed) worked well.

We had a great weekend here and would stay again. Clean, comfortable, and great neighborhood. We loved the backyard for our small dog and the ‘welcome treats’ left by the host.

Quiet neighborhood. Convenient location. Stocked with all the basic necessities. Very clean. Host Is very responsive. My only negative/suggestion for improvement is the beds could use a topper, they are very firm and uncomfortable.

Wonderful stay in the Old Village!

This property was recently renovated and looks clean and updated. Cute decor. Just the right size for me, my husband, and my adult stepdaughter. Exactly what we needed. Great location for access to IOP, Sullivan's Island, Mt Pleasant, and Charleston. We liked the nice quiet neighborhood. We will seriously consider staying here again.

Really enjoyed this house and the location is perfect! Easy access to Coleman Blvd and short drive to Charleston or Isle of Palms! The host were very helpful and attentive! We had a great weekend!

This apartment was the perfect size and accommodation for my daughter and I for our quick trip to Isle of Palms Beach. Only a few minutes away at a good value.

My family and I travelled here from New Zealand and we really enjoyed the house. We were reminiscing about our stay and the little things that made it feel welcoming and cozy like the coffee machine with complementary coffee/tea, snacks and treats. We found the bed comfortable, and the location perfect in a small quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed going for walks and even walking to the stores nearby. Air conditioning was perfect as it got pretty hot outside. Mornings drinking coffee and having breakfast on the front porch table was also nice. Clean and bright airy feeling was also nice. The new renovations were great.

First time in Charleston and would definitely stay again at this location. The area was safe and very nice. The host was also very communicative.

We stayed in the OV for the week to visit the area after moving away. It was the perfect spot if you want to visit Sullivan’s or hang around Mt P, but also east to go downtown. The space was small but perfect for us (2 adults and a one year old). We spent most of the time out of the house but it was comfortable and perfect when we were there. Super helpful and responsive hosts too. Would like to stay here again next time we visit!

This is such a cute little place, so comfortable, well equipped, and close to everything in Mount Pleasant. Getting ready for a wedding, we really appreciated simple things like a full length mirror and iron with ironing board! There were many little extras to make this place feel like a home in the neighborhood is so quiet and friendly!

House is small and a bit old, but it has everything you need for a short stay. The pros: the check in was easy, and they left us snacks. That was sweet and appreciated. The house was equipped with what you need.The cons: the structure of the beds were old and a bit noisy. I didn’t sleep well in the first night, but then I moved the mattress and the noise got a lot better.

House met our needs as we traveled to South Carolina for a Celebration of Life. Coziness of the house helped to heal wounds of loss.

This was my first time using VRBO, and I’m so glad I found this adorable spot! I booked a two-night stay while passing through town, and Sallie, the host, was incredibly kind and accommodating. I ran into some car trouble and arrived late, but Sallie was so thoughtful and offered me an extra night or two to make up for the delay—such a sweet holiday gesture!The property was immaculate, cozy, and felt like a true home away from home. My doodle especially loved the backyard, which was a perfect place to relax. Having lived in the area before, it was so nice to return and stay in such a welcoming and comfortable space.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and inviting spot to stay. The location was in a quiet, friendly neighborhood with a quick uber drive to downtown. Lots of excellent restaurants a short drive away. The duplex was clean with 2 bedrooms, cozy living room, kitchen (which we used for morning coffee) and a porch. Parking for 2 cars was a bonus.

Everything about the property was exactly as described. It was well stocked and very clean. Great communication with the owner. No complaints at all. Everything you could possibly need is close by and an easy drive to downtown and The Citadel. Thank you! We will be back.

Great little spot if you’re visiting Charleston! We come to visit family so we don’t often spend much time other than bathing and sleeping in our rentals - this place is otherwise very well located- easy to get to and easy to get anywhere from here. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Only tip I have I pack bug spray! This area has absolutely viscous skeeters!
