Renovated Manhattan style loft in old firehall, unique, charming, sleeps 14.

Loved the old firehouse vibe. Great location for local attractions ,shops and restaurants.

Super cool renovated firehouse!Awesome location — just a half block from Main Street, and the many shops, restaurants and microbreweries. I love Canandaigua!Only one stickler— the cleaning component is put on the renter. All dishes and kitchen surfaces to be washed and the floor to be swept before departure, used towels to be left in the laundry room…also, had to provide our own shampoo/conditioner/shower soap.Fortunately, we are neat and clean, and this would not keep us from returning to this rental property.Thank you for a very nice stay.

Definitely in need of updating. Terrible musty smell when entering that carries to the upstairs. One bathroom door didn’t lock. Told we would have 4 parking spots, only had 3, yet I was charged the 50 for extra person but owner seemed to not really care when told about the parking stating @she apologized for someone else’s mistake” … last thing I wanted to do was call her at 11pm after returning from wedding regarding parking so 2 people who lived not far away ended up just driving home, wasn’t worth the hassle to find public parking at that time of night. There are MUCH better choices if looking for somewhere to stay in Canandaigua.

Overall we had a great experience. The beds were comfortable and the location is great. We were in town for a wedding at The Lake House and it was a very easy commute. We felt the home was a bit dirty and there was still some leftover trash from the previous guests. The water pressure in the larger bathroom was really low as well which was a bit challenging but thankfully there was an another bathroom.

needs some improvements:water pressure in showers, hand rail going up stairs,overall property was in convenient area and was impressive on entering BUT realtor sign in front for sale sign was first impression bummer

We were in for a wedding and this property was right downtown so we had access to both the wedding area, downtown and lake withing five to ten minute drives. The property was as advertised, very comfortable and well laid out. One very minor issue that the owners handled immediately and we would definitely use again next time in town

Clean and conveniently located, but would have been helpful to have known in advance they only provided one towel per guest, no hand towels and no wash clothes, and wish we had known the shower head only produced a very slow trickle drip. Otherwise the space was nice and comfortable.

This property was a fun. It definitely has awe factor when you walk in. Nice high ceilings. Great wooden floor. Easy to book and communicate with owner through VRBO app. Some things to note - the property was open/ loft style so guests could hear each other. Only one bedroom was enclosed, three were open. The two bathrooms were fine, but the water pressure in both showers was so low it made it difficult to shower quickly and left users cold as warm water could only hit half of your body at a time even though there was a rain shower head. The tan bathroom was worse than the blue bathroom. Everything was clean, but needed some TLC overall. Entrance was a bit unnerving as you had to definitely make sure outside door was fully closed to lock. The door didn't close tight by itself, it needed to be gently press/pull on door to make sure it latched.) More unnerving, inside the vestibule were two doors that could open into the stairwell and that was unnerving because actual loft door was glass and didn't lock. Neighborhood was safe and it was fun to walk to all of the shops and restaurants.

The location is the best. Steps away from downtown area. Close to shops, boutiques, restaurants and the lake. Walked to the lake and the surrounding area. The apartment had two main bedrooms (each had 2 queen beds and an additional futon) and two full baths. The loft had two additional bedrooms. the loft area is open to the downstairs so sound does carry. The kitchen area was very large, modern and comfortable to use. Necessary appliances were available. dinning area had large windows as did living room with a view of parts of neighborhood. There was a farmers market on Saturday that we walked to. Great Location. Only downside was the 25 stairs to the apartment but just figured it helped to get our steps in each day. Loved the place and would go back again.

Place is great , close to everything and very accommodating.

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. We spent a lot of time cleaning before we settled in. No wash cloths provided and very few hand towels and bath towels. Lighting is poor. With 20’ ceilings, lights at the ceiling on fans is not enough. Upstairs bedroom had lighting that had to be switched on and off from the main level. Showers did not work good. Lights in bathroom did not work. Faucet in tub did not work for hot water. Need I go on!!! Worst rental we’ve ever been in.

We stayed here for the weeekend. Its close to downtown. There were 2 nice bedrooms that are private. The other 2 bedrooms are in the open loft area. Would be perfect for a large family. We enjoyed our stay.

The best place to stay in downtown Canandaigua! Close to everything. The entire space was clean and very comfortable.

Pros - Excellent location - can walk to restaurants etc, but on a quiet side street; convenient parking; spacious. Cons - Shower pressure is low, different shower heads would work better to boost it. Some small labels would be convenient for cupboards, remotes, light and fan controls, etc. Inside immediate entrance could use a refresh. Overall, was very enjoyable stay.

Great place - 6 minutes to CMAC Very spacious and neat Like others said if you like quiet place to sleep while others are up not the place for you or bring ear plugs.

Stayed at this VRBO for a friends overnight. We were doing a cooking class nearby. Old Firehall was a unique stay. Plenty of clean beds and large room to hang out, enjoy a few glasses of wine and have lots of laughs. Walking distance to all the unique shops and restaurants. Would defiantly recommend.

Great area, nice room for 4 to 8 people

Property was super clean and very spacious. Check in & check out was very easy and owner was great with communication.
