Renovated Cottage - Walk to Downtown Mentone

This home was perfect for our stay in Mentone. Furnishings were clean and tasteful. One of the best rentals we have stayed in.

We had a wonderful stay here. The cabin is very clean, super comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped, the shower is wonderful and the beds were very nice. Although the cabin is on Hwy 117, the road noise was not bothersome. The hot tub was a an added bonus after a long day of hiking; there are plenty of trails nearby. The Mentone Market is just down the street and has a great selection of food and gifts. We look forward to staying here again!

Me and my husband stayed in this adorable cottage for our 10 year wedding anniversary. It was exactly what we were looking for and more. The cottage was so clean and felt like home. We had great communication with the owner and he was super helpful with recommendations for places to eat and sightsee. We had the best relaxing weekend and will definitely be back!

Loved this cottage! It has everything we needed. Comfortable beds, nice clean hot tub, very nicely decorated, and close to everything we wanted to do. We were here for a few days celebrating our wedding anniversary. We had a relaxing time and went to the shops in Mentone, and Fort Payne. We ate at the Mad Hatter ( good breakfast, great ambience) and the Mentone Market. The host was great communicating info. We really enjoyed this trip and our stay here at this adorable cottage.

We had an excellent stay! Beautiful home with everything you need. Hot tub was very clean and easy to use and very private. Lots of shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Hope to return soon!

Exclellent communication, house is decorated impeccably and is so convenient to downtown Mentone! We walked to dinner & sunset each night. Loved the experience at this little cottage.

It was clean comfortable cozy up to date 1 thing could be improved is safety rails in the shower.Also needs some pull down shades over the front and back door.also a washer and dryer would definitely be a plus.

The cottage could not be more adorable. Every possible convenience has been thought of. The host was quick to respond when we had trouble with the Wi-Fi.My only concern is that the listing said it was walking distance to downtown Mentone Though the distance is not far, it is not walkable either. It is on the main 55mph highway that goes through town with no sidewalks and a steep drop-off from the road. There is constant highway noise inside the cottage.

Very nicely renovated cabin right in Mentone. We loved the decor and it was well stocked with all your needs for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed walking to the Mentone Market and to dinner at Elevation Bistro. We would definitely recommend staying there and will hopefully be back one day. Thank you Nathan!

This Mentone Cottage is the perfect cottage for a couple or 2-4 close friends. It is beautifully decorated, so cozy and inviting. Each room is fully stocked to meet your needs and make you comfortable. The location is great in the heart of Mentone.

Great location! Extremely comfortable beds and linens. Great shower! Relaxing, private hot tub. Loved everything about this cottage, but my favorite thing was relaxing on the front porch! Just perfect for coffee and reading in the morning, or winding down at the end of the day.

I can't even begin to describe how amazing the owners were from the moment we booked to the time we arrived. It was exactly as advertised and an absolute charm. Everything was so clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It felt like I was staying at home. Mentone is truly a gem tucked away in the hills. The charming shops and mom-and-pop restaurants in downtown Mentone were our favorites. We met so many kind people. We can't believe it took us so long to visit, but we will certainly be back. Thanks for the amazing stay!

This is the perfect location for a NE AL mountain retreat. You get away from it all, but you are in walking distance to Mentone amenities. The cottage itself is so lovely and charming - the most important thing is function of course but the fashion is the cherry on top. Decorations and style were A. The hot tub make this experience 1000x better. We will definitely be back! We visited DeSoto Falls, Little River Canyon, and Little River Falls, but there is so much more to do in reasonable driving distances!

The cottage was perfect. My wife loved the front porch swing and the vlabket on the back of the couch. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Instead of our usual day trips to Mentone, we decided to stay overnight. This tastefully updated bungalow was a welcome retreat for a long weekend. We found it to be pristine. The neutral country French decor was the right balance between rustic and refined. So relaxing! Before our arrival, the owners provided welcome suggestions for some new dining experiences outside of Mentone and Ft Payne. There is a sidewalk conveniently located outside the house, for a short walk to town. Communication with the owners was thorough and friendly. Arrival and departure instructions were easy. No surprises! We’d love to visit this jewel again.

We booked this cabin for our first anniversary. We had spent our honeymoon in Mentone and wanted to come back to the area. We were pleasantly surprised to see the booking from the same owners as our other stay. The owners have done a lovely job renovating this historic cottage into a modern treasure. We loved the decor and how homey it felt. It was also right in the heart of town so it was very accessible to everything we wanted to do.The hosts are wonderful and helpful, we couldn't be more pleased with our experiences with them.

Had a relaxing two night stay. Hot tub was awesome. Kitchen was fully furnished and we enjoyed cooking there.

Our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 young children) stayed in this lovely home over thanksgiving. We have always stayed with family, but decided to venture out and get a place of our own this visit. We could not have been happier with this house. The location was great in Mentone because it’s located close to everything along the main strip, and about 20 minutes from Fort Payne historic downtown. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated to perfection! Plenty of towels to last your entire stay. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need for your stay. This home was great for our family but would be perfect for a couple looking for a private getaway or a small family of 4 (or less). We still managed well with 6! Highly recommend!

This was the perfect house and I’ve already shared it with other family and friends so they can enjoy it as well! From the decor, to the pillows on the bed… everything was perfectly designed. We’ve stayed in many short term rentals and this was the best. We even had a crazy experience where we left things in the house and had to return to the property not once.. but twice.. the communication was top notch and I was able to go back and retrieve our belongings that were left. 10/10 stay! We can’t wait to stay again!

Lovely home that is superbly decorated. The location is very convenient and in walking distance to the Wildflower Cafe and the Mentone market. The property was exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and a fully equipped and updated kitchen. The hot tub was a bonus and we would happily stay here again.

My Husband and I found this cottage, and we knew at that moment we wanted to stay for his Birthday weekend. The cottage had everything we needed and more to feel right at home. The beautiful decor of the home was IMMACULATE, there was so much attention to detail, there was so much life in this home. We disconnected from the busy everyday chaos and we are so happy that we chose to land here. The owner was so communicative, responded very quickly and left no stone unturned. We were less than 1 minute from the Market, and other attractions in the city center. This was a BEAUTIFUL weekend, and such a great experience. Thank you so much for hosting us. Namaste.
