Escape to the Snow Shire Cabin located in the heart of Government Camp. The Snow Shire Cabin was originally constructed as a Forest Service Ranger Station until it was moved to its current location. The cabin was recently remodeled with updates to provide all of the modern amenities while keeping some of the original building’s charm.

Nestled on the banks of Camp Creek, the covered porch offers year-round outdoor access while soakingin the sounds of the rushing creek. The simplistic vibe of the décor, along with the high ceilings, is inviting and warm. Snuggle up on the couch and gaze at the native rock gas fireplace in the cozy living room. You can prepare your meals for your vacation adventures in the remodeled kitchen with a large slab dining table or take a quick walk to all the restaurants in Government Camp.

The primary suite located on the main level offers a private exit onto the covered Creekside porch. The upstairs bedroom offers a queen, twin, and a bunk bed with a twin over a queen. The loft area is a wonderful retreat for the kids in the group with plush bean bag chairs and a cozy reading nook. The whole family can watch their favorite vacation movies on the loft area TV.

The Snow Shire Cabin is pet-friendly, and we welcome your mature dogs to join you during your vacation.
