This cozy cabin was clean, great location, relaxing and had everything we needed to enjoy our time. Thank you!
Loved the house & property! Very nice dock to fish off!
Had a great stay at Rice Lake Hideaway. We certainly were glad we rented the pontoon. It made our days on the lake very enjoyable! Host Steve was easy to work with and Diane was awesome, too! We appreciated the great supply of paper products and toiletries. We didn't do much cooking but the kitchen was well-supplied. Loved the comfy recliners after enjoying the lake all day.
The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and perfect for a week on the lake. The owner, Steve, answered all our questions promptly! Diane, the care taker was awesome! She showed us where we could dock our boat and was helpful when we needed to ask her any questions. We had our own speed boat to water ski and tube which was great, however we did rent the pantoon and kayaks. The pontoon was great for fishing (even though we didn't catch anything) and taking slow cruises around the lake. The swimming wasn't great off the pier/dock due to the weeds, but we took the pontoon out and swam from that - brought floaties, snacks and beverages - it was perfect!
This is a very nice place.
It was great
The property is such a sweet cottage on the lake! Bigger inside than it looks on the outside, and so clean and beautiful inside! The kitchen is well laid out, big enough to prepare meals for a whole family. And, a dishwasher in a cabin? BONUS!! The deck is huge and has such great views of the lake! Morning coffee in the cool breeze and then sunsets at night! We rented the pontoon for a couple days and that was an excellent choice, just cruising the lake was worth it. Loved the flat yard leading to the awesome dock. More so even after touring the lake and seeing some of the properties with what looked like hundreds of steps down. The owner, Steve, was out of town during our stay. But, we had Diane and Denny to help us out ….and they were awesome! They showed us the pontoon, helped pick a pizza place, and helped make sure our dog stayed safe on the deck and that we made sure we were extra comfy inside!
We just got back from a lovely stay at this cabin in Rice Lake. We rented the pontoon for the week and had a blast boating and swimming. Gary was a pleasure to deal with and made us feel so welcome. We had the best vacation and were sad to leave. Thank you for letting us enjoy your cabin for the week.
Wonderful family vacation spot. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and comfortable. We did take advantage of the pontoon rental, and it was definitely worth it! We would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice vacation house on a lake.. and they are pet friendly. Our dogs enjoyed it as much as we did!
We truly enjoyed our time at this property. We traveled from Minnesota on motorcycle, 6 people 6 bikes. Nice roads, easy to find, garage for bikes, and close to grocery store. It was a nice little neighborhood, and the house was just comfortable. We had all we needed and our host and hostess were super nice. We could not have asked for more...and the lake view is amazing. Sunsets were breathtaking and we loved listening to the loons. Thank you so much for making our trip so enjoyable!!
