Beautiful cabin with excellent view and perfect interior. Was not missing anything on our time there!

The pictures for this listing don’t do justice to the beauty of the cabin and surrounds. Very tastefully decorated using high end pottery, bedding, curtains and other decor. The bathroom is exquisite and all building materials and furnishings are top of the line. Nathan was very helpful and easily accessible. Our two night stay was so very special. I can’t say enough good things about this special cabin in the woods. Go see for yourself!

Absolutely gorgeous cabin! Top of the line decor, appliances, bathroom, sound bar, jacuzzi. Kitchen is beautiful. Bed is so comfortable with beautiful and soft comforter. Had such an amazing time. Mentone is a cute quaint lil town.

What a perfect secluded little cabin. Everything was upscale... Pottery Barn Curtains, Crate and Barrel dishes, even mikes forks and knives etc. The stove and all the appliances and everything in the cabin was brand new. Very, very clean..Cozy, comfortable... around the corner from desoto state park (easy hiking) and 15 min away from Little Canyon river national preserve, desoto falls, and Mentone. Whoever decorated this place did a fantastic job. We loved it and will stay again.

Happy 28th wedding anniversary to us! What a wonderful little cabin to get away to and enjoy each other’s company. We enjoyed the views, the cabin, the hot tub, the kitchen and the amazing shower. Everything was Great!

WHAT A GEM!This cabin is cozy, well-stocked, and thoughtfully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking/baking and it's only 20 minutes away from Food City in Ft. Payne. Beautiful views, clean hot tub, a perfect getaway less than 2 hours from Huntsville and Birmingham. I know this is preference, I found the bed to be on the firm side; just a heads up if used to a softer bed.

Beautiful isolated cabin in the mountains. Interiors and hot tub were very clean, internet was fast, and the kitchen is fully kitted out. Great, quick access to nearby towns like Mentone, Valley Head, and Fort Payne. Host communication was easy, and the check in/check out processes were simple.

Great house for a couple getaway. A good hub to start day trips from. Will definitely keep this one in mind for future trips.

This is the coziest little cabin we’ve ever rented. It was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The updates are perfect while keeping that rustic charm. The host was very easy to contact & responds quickly. We will definitely put this cabin on our favorites list!!

Check-in was great Nathan sent link via text that led us straight to the house. Nicely remodeled and cozy for our weekend getaway. Hot tub with the curtains was nice to add privacy. Will definitely stay there again when we return.

The place is perfect for a weekend away from home. I loved that the cabin was clean, organized, and had all the necessary amenities. That's a plus. The place is nice. It's far from the restaurant area, but close to the park. The hosts were friendly. The process to access the cabin is simple, safe, and easy. I would stay at this cabin again.

The cabin was perfect for a couple’s weekend! It was quaint, cozy and secluded. It had all the extra amenities that anyone would need. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub, the fire pit was a bonus and the back porch was perfect for a dinner for two!

My wife and I were very impressed with the cabin aesthetics and amenities, everything in the interior appeared to be spanking new and clean. The covered hot tub was perfect in the evening after hiking in the nearby trails for most of the day.

Everything about it was PHENOMENAL!!!! Looks just like the pictures!!! Was so clean and has everything you need!!!! The owner with communication and info/suggestions couldn’t have been better!!! The bed was very comfortable and hot tub and fire pit were even better!!!! Will definitely stay here again!!!!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Beautiful and peaceful cabin. Everything was just as advertised and the owner communication was excellent.

My son and I had a great stay at this cabin. It was perfect for what we needed. Nathan was a great host.

My boyfriend and I chose this cabin based on its location and a few minor details. We got so lucky to have found Laurel Ridge. The host Nathan was extremely knowledgeable about the area making several suggestions to enhance our stay before our arrival. Upon entering the cabin, we were blown away by its beauty and every sense was considered from amazingly comfortable furniture and bedding to bathrobes and scented candles. This cabin is the perfect fit lace to come to if you chose to unplug but still surround yourself in luxury.

This was our third trip to this cabin. We love it more every time. We hope to visit again when the leaves are turning. Thank you Nathan and Stacy for providing such a wonderful experience!

Enjoyed the time there

Wonderful cabin and perfect for two. Updated kitchen and bathroom with a hot tub on the back deck. Perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

As soon as we got to the property I was super excited, because it was everything I hoped for. We had a lovely time and had everything we needed. Nathan was great and gave us any information we needed and was there to help if necessary. Will definitely consider staying again!

Clean / beautifully updated cabin

This property was amazing! Cabin was beautifully decorated, clean and newly updated. In addition the host was very responsive and customer focused. Highly recommend this property and will reuse in the future.

This cabin is perfect for a couples getaway. Remodeled, cozy and so well decorated. Christmas decor was a festive added touch that helped us celebrate in this season as well. The property is very well maintained, clean, and quiet. Very close to the original entrance to Desoto State park. We had a great hike to Lost Falls and Laurel falls and did not see another human. With the leaves down you can see the sunset from the hot tub on the porch. Great weekend, and excellent rental. Nathan was prompt and very kind to check in. Would rent again.

Great cozy cabin for 2. Cabin is very new, clean and kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Great hot tub! Bathroom is really nice. Bed and bedding were extremely comfortable. 5/5 rating, will stay here again. Couldn’t ask for anything else!

This cabin is beautiful and well equipped with everything needed for a more than comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was excellent! We hiked to the bottom of Desoto falls and enjoyed dinner at the Wildflower Cafe on Saturday evening (with reservations). The market was great for lunch and we picked up grab and go salads for later. The evenings were cool so the outdoor fire and the hot tub were a welcoming treat! I look forward to a repeat of the weekend soon and I wouldn’t change anything!

The cabin is well stocked with everything you could need or want. It’s close to DeSoto and Mentone. The host is super knowledgeable about the area and responsive to any text messages. Bed is great… AC/Heater is great… hot tub is perfection…. I will definitely stay here again.

Host was super! Communication was early, clear, and as thorough as I needed. House was as advertised and more! Located central to trails, sites, restaurants and all the area has to offer. Would highly recommend!

Zero complaints! Hostess are fabulous and this is our fourth time renting two of their cabins. They’ve been nice and helpful each time. Location is perfect for accessing everything from within and outside the park.

Cabin was perfect for a last minute weekend getaway with my husband. Cabin was small but all spaces were utilized well, and had a homey/cozy feel. We were pleasantly surprised by the modern kitchen and bathroom updates. Host provided helpful communications prior to and during our stay. We would stay there again, if we are in the area.

We have been to Mentone/Desoto a good bit over the years, but this was the first time in several, and it was the BEST! We were wanting a quiet, romantic getaway and this cabin was PERFECT!! To start, the owner reached out in advance to answer any questions and to give notice of what to expect. He even gave us a slew of recommendations for food and activities, which ended up being GREAT! When we first arrived to the cabin, we were took back by the design and decor, it was as if everything was set in place, waiting for us for our fairytale weekend! The cabin was in a pretty secluded area with lots of privacy, which was perfect for the hot tub! I cannot compliment the place enough! So clean and comfortable! Will definitely be recommending!!
