Remodeled Authentic Cabin Near DeSoto Park

This wasn't just staying in a cabin a couple of days. The house was hand crafted throughout. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of our stay. Peaceful, clean and relaxing, we'll be back.

This cabin is full of charm and perfect for couples. I felt like I was on a movie set. Close enough to town but far enough away.My most surprising thing was the setup of the kitchen. Quality pots/pans and serve ware. Typically, rentals have cheap pans that have been abused by guests and are no longer food safe so that I had to start traveling with a good pot and pan. We will be back.

The cabin was exactly as listed. The hot tub was so relaxing at the end of the day. The cabin and its amenities are on point with some of the fancier hotels weve been to. We will definitely be looking to stay there again!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect. Absolutely beautiful, it was very clean, and it had everything you need to unplug and unwind. The host, Communicated if needed and checked on us. We will be back.

Our host Nathan was very helpful! The rooms were wonderful and very nicely decorated. Very nice amenities.The scenery was wonderful also. It was a great place for our honeymoon. I highly recommend this place and will be back again.

Great stay!

This was our 4th year in a row renting this gem of a cabin in one of the most beautiful parts of our state. We absolutely love it and wouldn’t want to spend our annual anniversary trip anywhere else. Nathan and Stacy are wonderfully accommodating hosts. Check-in is simple. The cabin is perfectly stocked and beautifully decorated. It’s truly starting to feel like a 2nd home. I wish we could stay forever! We are looking forward to stay #5 in 2026.

Quiet, woody and relaxing. The kitchen was amazingly useful, perfect for making meals for that special person and loved the open loft design.

I enjoyed everything about this cabin! The Hot Tub was the perfect spot to be after a full day of kayaking and hiking. The interior was authentic yet modern. Convenient to activities and towns. You won't be disappointed, go ahead and hit BOOK!

This cabin is so cozy & sweet. The space retains a very woodsy cabin feel while also being fresh & clean. They had everything we needed for cooking, and even provided dish soap & sponges. The bed was so comfy as well was all the bedding. And the hot tub was easy to use with an option to pull curtains around if you wanted more privacy. And the location near to the park is great if you're looking to do some hiking in Fort Payne or at Desoto State Park.Our only other feedback was we wanted to check in early, were told to ask the day of, and which we did, but were never given an answer when we asked that day. Otherwise 10/10 experience and would absolutely recommend! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing cabin in the hills, had everything we needed. Very cozy and clean, updated cabin perfect for a couples getaway. Would definitely recommend staying and the Host was very responsive and quick to answer any question you had. Will be coming back here in the future

We really liked just about everything about this cabin and the location can’t be beat, it is very close to the trails in Desoto State Park.

This cabin had all we needed and more. Board games, huge TVs, amazing windows for almost a 360 view, and just decorated so cute. We enjoyed the hot tub, showers had great water pressure and love that we had hand held sprayers (which are sometimes hard to find, but important to us). We will definitely return.

Nathan was great to respond quickly to questions. The house and stay was great, just too short. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the location was good.

Everything was great ! Check in was fast and check out was great! The owner gave us a little extra time at check out since nobody was staying that night. Very friendly owner!

Beautiful cabin in convenient location. Everything was very high end from the shower to the stovetop and even the dishes. Highly recommend.

From the craftsmanship of the cabin itself to the modern kitchen updates, we always want to come home and remodel and redecorate our own house. This cabin is our favorite getaway spot. 5 Stars!!!

Very clean nice place

We loved our stay at this beautiful little cabin. Nathan was a blessing to work with. He went above and beyond to help us with information, not only about checking in and out, but he also provided information about local places to eat and some things we might enjoy doing. The atmosphere was perfect for our 4th Anniversary to celebrate, rest, explore the local trials and beautiful scenery. We hope to come back sometime during the summer! Nathan’s property is absolutely wonderful. My husband and I needed some time away and Nathan’s cabin fit the bill exactly. Easy to get to, matches description and will exceed your expectations. Upon our arrival the forecast going and the Christmas tree lit up the cozy den. The hot tub was so relaxing. The entire cabin was spotless and so cozy. Highly recommend!

The cabin is beautiful. It has all updated finishes without taking away the rustic charm. Kitchen had anything you needed to cook a meal, plenty of dishes and utensils. Nice deck and great for pit area. We really enjoyed the hot tub! Great location - only thing I would say that wasn’t perfect is it’s located at a pretty busy intersection, but there was not much noise from traffic . Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!

We had a lovely stay, it’s a beautiful cabin and it is very accommodating, it has been wonderful updated and the surroundings were nice and quiet. We enjoyed hiking at Cloudland State Park My only negative would be the directions from our gps and from the written correspondence, neither were helpful in finding the cabin. Finally had to call the property manager.

This is the 3rd year we have stayed in this cabin for our annual anniversary trip. It’s so perfect that we haven’t even bothered looking for a different cabin. The location is perfect. The cabin itself is perfect for a couple. The host is outstanding and always so helpful. I’m sure we’ll be back in November 2025 for anniversary stay #4!

Stay was awsome! Only complaint would be the matress. Ok for me but not so much for the wife. Otherwise it was perfect.

We loved the quiet, its location in the woods, and the close proximity to so many hiking trails. The hot tub was great, kitchen well stocked, and the craftsmanship of the cabin was incredible.
