Relaxing Home Away from Home! Pets, Private Pool, Steps to Beach- a rare find!

Pool was wonderful! Just a short walk to the beach. Could actually see the ocean from the house. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Property had all amenities as advertised! Host was quick to respond and was close to beach that was never too crowded the week we stayed. The pool was a great escape when we had some red flag days. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies as well.

We had a wonderful time at Sea Gem. The place was clean and comfortable. The pac n play was nice for our toddler. Conveniently provided. Just bring sheets for it. Pool was nice for the small kids. The boardwalk to the beach was super close. Cheryl was nice to deal with. She made sure we had everything needed. Also kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Highly recommended.

This is one of those rare properties where you get what is advertised at a reasonable price. There were some minor issues that could have made the trip absolute bliss, but even if they are not addressed, we’d seriously consider booking this place again. Highlights are the short walk to the beach. The pool that’s open 24/7. The kitchen that is well equipped for any vacation cook. Most importantly, landscaping that mostly secludes you from the rest of your neighbors. If you want some peace and quiet with quick beach access, this is the place for you. I’m certain my wife and I will be back again with her family in tow. I’m going to be so happy to say ‘I’m just fine sitting on the porch’. They can go spend the day on the beach.

The house was great! Loved the privacy of the pool and the very short walk to the beach. Sheryl was AMAZING to work with and was super helpdul with all of our questions including the best places to visit on the island. We would totally come back!

Awesome house in a great neighborhood! Steps to the beach, pool at the house, bike paths so nice. We had a wonderful time.

The home is stocked with plenty of pots and pans to cook with as well as lots of spices. We really enjoyed the pool. Plenty of space for the dogs to run around. Very short walk to the beach. The property owner is very sweet and informative on any information regarding the island or events going on. Would highly recommend booking this home for your vacation.

This property was just perfect for a relaxing vacation. Just steps away from the ocean, and with a lovely pool to relax after spending the afternoon on the beach was just what we needed. The location in Plantation was ideal for walking our dog too. This was a great find for us and would definitely like to return. Communication from the host was perfect and check in easy!

Had a wonderful vacation! The home is very nice. The kitchen is well stocked. The beach access is conveniently located just across the street. Pool was excellent as well. Sea Gem was a wonderful stay. Comfortable beds, very clean, quiet location, convenient to beach. Had most of the things you would need for a beach stay. Decorated perfectly for the beach without being too themey. Pool is fantastic. Everything was awesome! All of us, especially the dog, had a blast!! Beach very close and quiet....pool very relaxing! Sheryl is a great host and available with no complaints to help with any question or issue. Will def stay there again!

We had a wonderful experience. The accommodations, the pool, and the beach were awesome. We had a fantastic vacation.

Clean, amazingly comfortable beds, lovely decor, perfectly situated close to the beach, well stocked kitchen with the amenities we needed and a communicative host! If you have a large group, bring a couple extra beach towels - the two person kayak was not on the property as stated in the description. None of those were show stoppers - we will be back. The Plantation on St. George can’t be beat if you are looking for beauty, relaxation, and beaches that are not crowded.

Great Location! Easy walk to beach for little kids. House was stocked with everything needed for the beach which was very nice. Beaches were not crowded at all and the location was very private. Pool was so nice to have and provided a great place to relax and swim. Also, very close to grocery store and restaurants. Wish we would have rented additional bikes for the entire family so that we could have explored the plantation a little bit more.

We stayed in this home for 2 weeks and we enjoyed the home very much, it was spacious, clean and well equipped. The pool was very clean as well. Sheryl, the property mgr., was super nice. We brought our 2 little dogs and we all enjoyed hanging on the large porch. We made sure to keep them quiet (with bark collars) to not disturb the neighbors. We could only see a tiny bit of the ocean but we could hear the waves from the porch which was a bonus. We really enjoyed early morning dog walks on the beach and afternoon walks in the neighborhood. All in all, it was a peaceful and fun 2 weeks. We will be back to SGI for sure.

Property and hospitality from our hostess was wonderful. When we needed assistance Cheryl was instantly available and accommodating.Very pleasant when the problem was not a problem!!

Property was not ready for our stay. Burned out lite bulbs, nothing to wipe or clean dishes with, pool filter not working, bathrooms dusty, windows filthy. The property appeared to be neglected. Called owner and she was very nice and accommodating.

We loved the house. Great location near the beach. Sheryl was an absolute delight and was very helpful, even with suggestions for places to eat. The views from the bedrooms were nice - would easily go there again.
