La Farge, Wisconsin
Trillium offers an unusual opportunity to relax and unwind in the peaceful beauty of a rural setting on our farm. Trillium features two cozy private cottages tucked into the hills of the Kickapoo Valley in southwestern Wisconsin. This property is a quick drive to the Kickapoo Valley Reserve and Wildcat Mountain State Park and is near the Kickapoo River and many trout streams. A delicious farm breakfast of eggs, muffins, fresh homemade bread and homemade jelly is available.
Our private guest cottages are out of sight of one another and each offers expansive views of the farm and the surrounding countryside. The 85 acre property features beautiful gardens, many natural springs, a spring-fed pond and miles of hiking trails through the woods and meadows.
Very nice stay, comfortable, will definitely return. Owners were very gracious and hospitable.
Very pleasant deck.
Staying at the Hill House was a wonderful experience. We were 3 couples attending a wedding in the area. We could have not asked for better accommodations. Trillium is located in a beautiful country setting. We enjoyed sunsets on the observation deck in the beautiful field where the Queen Anne's lace was swaying in the breeze. The breakfast served by your hosts is amazing!!! My favorite part was all the animals. The goats who greet you, the cats who love you, and Hannah, the dog who loves you and watches over the place. We will be back to this beautiful spot.
Eclectic home in the woods with the added bonus of Amish baked goods!
Great location. Wonderful hosts. The owners brought a nice little breakfast each morning which includes fresh baked bread and scones... The highlight was eating dinner on the upper pasture while the sun set and then sticking around as the stars came out. Just wonderful. We highly recommend...
This property is a true retreat. So easy to settle in and feel welcome. The grounds and trails are lovely.
Our stay was wonderful. The cottage was perfect. I did not realize that the cottage did not have a television!! This made our stay even better!! We knocked out three jigsaw puzzles and have great family conversations Linda and Frank are wonderful hosts !! My daughter loved the animals and exploring the farm.
Loved the farm animals - donkey, chickens/roosters, pig, sheep (but felt bad about the cat sitting outside the front and back door looking through the window wanting to get inside). The breakfast items were delicious - bread, muffins, scones, eggs. Not sure if the main bed was a queen or full - it was a bit firm for me. We made a fire every night in the indoor fireplace and there was plenty of wood - and the ability to get more if needed (with no charge). Frank was very helpful with information about the area.
This was a beautiful winter getaway! Linda and Frank were wonderful hosts. The animals around the property were friendly and sweet. The fireplace was amazing and created a warm and cozy space. Our boys loved sledding and skating on the small pond. Hannah, the dog, led us on a winter walk along a trail. The fresh eggs and baked goods each morning were wonderful. We are definitely going back.
It’s only got one bathroom which is kinda tight for 6 people is the only thing I didn’t like
An amazing stay at a beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. Even rainy and cold weather couldn't keep us from having a good time. My kiddo loved feeding the goats and petting the farm cats. Delicious baked goods delivered to our door each morning fueled us up for walks around the beautiful property. Won't be our last visit!
The gorgeous deck was our go-to hang out spot, at least when we weren't walking the trails or watching the goats, ducks and pigs on the property. The hosts bring by fresh bread and eggs every morning and the setting is stunning.
Located in West LaFarge, Amish country, the cottage property is charming and well situated for fishing. The owners live on site (big house) but there is still peace and quiet. It’s a great value.
This was the second time my friend and I met here for a writing weekend and we were not disappointed. The cottage is beautiful and cozy, the animals are friendly, and the breakfast is delicious.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hill House on Trillium Farm. We were greeted and escorted to our lodging by two beautiful ginger kitties. The beds were extremely comfortable and the atmosphere was super homey as well as quiet. Much charm! The breakfast that was delivered had wonderful baked goods. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back again soon!
