Stayed Aug 18, 2025Beautiful lake view is the highlight of this cabin. A cozy house that has plenty of room for our family. We took advantage of the boats and kayaks as well as day trips into Telketna. Great hosts who provided sweet extras and quality linens and towels.

Stayed Jul 29, 2025We had a wonderful stay at The Lazy Birch. The entire property was thoughtfully laid out and maintained. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake and using the paddle boat and kayaks. Sitting quietly on the lake and watching the loons was so relaxing. Our teens also really enjoyed the provided outdoor games. The amenities inside were numerous and we were quite comfortable during our stay. Darryl was very fast to respond and very pleasant. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Stayed Jun 25, 2025We were here for just a few days. Cute house with amazing deck and views. The property had LOTS to do. My boys enjoyed kayaking and axe throwing. There is a grocery store close by and the house was well stocked. The location was exactly what we wanted. We went up to Denali and also visited other areas. The property managers responded quickly to our messages. We would recommend this location!

Stayed Jun 19, 2025Great stay for us and our friends this weekend at Lazy Birch. Everything was comfortable and well thought out, and so many amenities were available that we were able to enjoy under the midnight sun. We will definitely return on our next trip to Talkeetna! Stayed Jun 5, 2025The Lazy Birch is a beautiful little cabin, just off the beaten track. The cabin is well-maintained and well-appointed. The kitchen is very well equipped. All the little extras are appreciated.Wish we were staying more than just one night. Stayed Aug 12, 2024Nice cabin situated to taking in the view of the lake. Very comfortable, clean, a nice getaway, but still not too far from Talkeetna/towards Denali. Loved Being able to get on the lake with The provided kayaks/paddleboat. Host was responsive and make sure we had everything we needed.

Stayed Jul 30, 2024This place was fantastic. There were so many amenities that I lost count. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, played corn hole and horse shoes.
