Description

Ra Mura is situated in a fantastic location on the west side of the island offering beautiful sunsets with excellent swimming and snorkeling. Turn off the main road and over a little bridge and 50 metres later you’ll reach this very private hideaway. Nestled by lush native flora and fauna Ra Mura boasts a large wrap around verandah with views of white sand beaches and blue water framed by ancient ironwood trees. Numerous outdoor seating areas and a large BBQ encourage outdoor dining andentertainment, day and night.

Ra Mura has been completely renovated and refurbished and reflects the owners eye for detail. Its indoor common area entertains 8 people at the dining table whilst still having ample space for a comfortable lounging area. Off the common area are two of the three bedrooms, two of which has an ensuite, all bedrooms have private access to the beachfront verandah. The master bedroom is through a small ante room (which also has two single beds), and takes up a full corner of the house with floor to ceiling windows and folding doors overlooking the lagoon.

Did I mention the kitchen stainless steel benches and more. The overall feeling of the new improved Ra Mura is “house and garden meets tropical island, magic.

There are a number of shops and restaurants within easy walk of Ra Mura, and also a massive yard for everyone to play in.

Excellent location right on the beach. Comfortable and well equipped, with short walk along beach to Shipwreck Bar & Restaurant. Great communication from Ed. Highly recommended.

This is a spectacular location right on the water- we were expecting relatives from Australia but they were, unfortunately, unable to come. …. no matter, despite a huge tropical storm, this was a fine vacation. The locals are welcoming and lovely, the host was also - would highly recommend!!

While the photos here are nice, the house was even nicer than that - a lovely spacious place, beautifully laid out, with everything we needed Loved the decent beach towels and bath towels Location was magic. Much nicer than other times we have been and stayed at Muri, less crowded Great snorkelling right off the back lawn Honestly we couldn't have asked for a nicer place - many thanks!

We all loved the location of Ra Mura. The coastline is beautiful, as was the snorkeling right outside our door literally 10 steps away. Even a little decking under trees to sit the bean bags and watch the sun going down!! We were so happy with this great home with space and all facilities you need to be there and enjoy. Very comfy beds and great central lounge with kitchen. The best coffee and brunch down the road at Baluga, and a mini supermarket a five minute walk. Will definitely be back !
