Cabin in the woods was a perfect place and location for our needs. Property is beautiful and plenty of space to pull in and out with a boat. This property is very close to some amazing lakes if you plan to fish. Grocery store and fuel is just down the road in Hackensack. Lori was easy to communicate with and very helpful. Thanks!!

Loved our stay at the little cabin in the woods the home is tiny and just right for 2 people, and it was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The grounds were beautiful and has a lovely view. We weren’t able to walk the trails because it is bear hunting time. We would love to go back next year!

Our family had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this small cabin in the woods! The large property, with rabbits and deer, and plenty of birds to wake you up in the morning made this stay a perfect get-a-way from urban living. The cabin was very clean, neat and tidy with enough cookware and utensils for you to cook and grill your own meals. Also, the large, covered porch with plenty of seating allowed our family to enjoy the scenery while remaining comfortable. The large campfire pit allowed us to enjoy stargazing with some good conversation and tasty S'mores! Hope to make it back up to the 'little cabin in the woods' someday!

This was the perfect place for a solo retreat. I very much enjoyed the 3 season porch and being able to enjoy the outdoors without really being in the elements. I spent a lot of my time sipping coffee, reading, and watching the deer, birds, and bunnies roam around the property. There were places to wander in nature if I wanted to also. It was close enough to town that I didn’t feel isolated and had services available within a short drive, but far enough out that it was the peaceful retreat I was looking for. I would definitely stay here again.

We arrived right after it rained just in time to grill out steaks. The screened in porch was my favorite part of the stay. Beautiful views of nature and some hiking trails on the property so a lot of deer and monarch butterflies.

It was a small cabin in the woods but perfect for my husband and I. We were visiting friends on Ten Mile Lake and this cabin in the woods gave us our own little retreat.

Very peaceful property. We came to MN for fishing and relaxing. This little cabin was just enough for our family. We had a great time. Thank you for sharing your little slice of heaven in Northern MN.

Enjoyed the area.

My wife and I loved getting to spend a week out in the peace and quiet in Hackensack! The walking trails and fire pit were great and the cabin was super nice! You’re in the middle of lots of awesome little towns like Walker and Nisswa, and you aren’t too far from Bemidji or Itasca State Park! All in all it was an awesome week and this cabin was a huge part of it!

We were looking for an escape and this place fit the bill. Although the weather did not cooperate to enjoy the property as much as we had hoped we had an amazingly tranquil stay

Great little cabin in the woods!

I came for down time and found this little gem. The cabin is small but has everything needed. The perfect spot for me was the screened porch where I could watch the sunrise, drink coffee and read while the squirrels and birds got about their daily business. It’s a beautiful spot if you are looking for simple living. I hope to come back here.

This cabin is absolutely PERFECT if you want to get away, have a great peaceful, relaxing and beautiful weekend. It’s so quiet here and so private. We would absolutely LOVE to stay here again. 10000/10

The cabin is very nice. It has all the amenities needed for a relaxing weekend. The yard is well kept. There is a grill to use and a fire pit with plenty of wood. I will definitely be back for another stay.

The cabin was charming, although warm without any AC and the weather had warmed significantly. we only were able to enjoy it one night as we had an unexpected family death and needed to leave

We loved staying here! The property was absolutely beautiful. All of things we could've needed were provided and the host was very nice and understanding when we were running a couple minutes late during checkout.

They were so nice and the property is beautiful! Sons had so much fun there and talking about returning! Definitely would stay there again!
