Lake Vacation Up North Dream; Create wonderful memories with your loved ones

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! From the very beginning, Sophie was incredibly communicative and thorough with her instructions, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt both cozy and modern at the same time. It was also very well equipped with everything we needed, which made our stay extra comfortable. Overall, it was a lovely experience and we’d be happy to return in the future. Highly recommended!

This property is exactly what we were looking for- lovely, clean, and peaceful. It is beautiful inside and out. There is a ton of interior space and a wonderfully large piece of property with a lot of lake shore. We were able to relax and unwind just as we had hoped. We did not use any of the available water toys, but we very much enjoyed relaxing on the dock and swimming in the lake.Arrival was simple and easy. The instructions provided were very clear. The house was clean and ready for us when we arrived. Sophie texted the next morning to make sure everything was going well.Departure was just as easy. They had a check list for us to follow and away we went.Everything in the house is well labeled and there is a book of instructions for probably anything you could need. And Sophie is very responsive to any questions. This home is very clearly well cared for and cherished and a lot of time and effort has been put in to make people feel welcome and keep the house in good orderWe hope to return to this wonderful cabin in the future.

This was our second year renting Sophie’s beautiful lake cabin on Ten Mile Lake, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered! Our family and extended family spent a fantastic week here in August 2025, and it was the perfect spot for our summer getaway.The cabin is stunning and well-equipped, with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy. Sophie was a pleasure to communicate with—responsive, friendly, and attentive to all our needs. The property’s dock was a highlight, allowing us to easily moor our boat and Seadoo jet ski. The kids had a blast with the swim mat, which was simple to deploy and provided hours of fun in the lake. We also loved using the provided kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, which added to our water adventures.Each evening, we gathered around the campfire, making memories under the stars. The location is ideal, with Walker and Hackensack nearby for convenient dining and shopping. Everything about this cabin made our stay special, from the serene lake views to the thoughtful amenities. We’re already looking forward to booking again next year! Thank you, Sophie, for sharing your amazing home with us!

House and grounds are lovely. Lake is springfed and clean. Host is responsive and accommodating. Kayaks,paddleboards and lawn toys are provided.Two refrigerators are convenient. Beds and pillows are good quality. Wonderful vaca at this home.

We absolutely adored our stay at this property! Our family of 11, including three young children, had the best time making memories together. The home was exactly what we hoped for, quiet, peaceful, and with plenty of space for all of us to spread out and relax.The location was ideal, tucked away for privacy but still a short, easy drive to both Hackensack and Walker. We loved being able to enjoy the peaceful surroundings while still having nearby towns to explore.The host was wonderful, easy to communicate with, quick to respond, and incredibly accommodating. You can tell they care about making your stay special.We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our family getaway. Highly, highly recommend, and would love to come back someday!

The Ten Mile Lakehouse is exactly what our family was looking for and the owner made 100% sure we were happy. This owner sets the gold standard for two-way communications. Bring your boat and spend quality family time on the lake, or just sitting around the firepit. Our best VRBO experience to date. Enjoy!

We had a great time at this cabin. The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. It’s in a perfect spot on Ten Mile Lake, with a big yard and a great dock. We spent a lot of time fishing and caught plenty of bass right off the shoreline, which was a blast.The host was super easy to work with—quick to respond and very helpful. The place felt private and peaceful, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Hackensack cabin. Very clean, fully stocked and a great location for a relaxing family getaway.

10/10 - Amazing. We (wife & daughters 21/19) have been making the trip to the Walker, MN area for 10 years as my Mothers family is from the area & this property has been one of the best we’ve booked for this tradition. Our group is large as we do this annual trip w/my parents & sisters family. We’ve only ever stayed on Leech Lake in the past, so TenMile Lake was new to us, but it did not disappoint. The house is lovely w/a large well equipped kitchen, very large dinner table (perfect for the many games that were played), spacious & meticulously decorated living room, & by far my favorite, their 3/4 season screened in porch. The house had several bedrooms (I think 6?) to choose from with different configurations for our large party of 11 & the bed linens and pillows were top quality; sleeping was cozy and comfortable. On the warmer summer days we spent our time water skiing or using the hosts SUPs & Kayaks; we loved just hanging out during the day on the dock, & esp. at dusk to watch sunsets, before retiring to either a small fire in the fire ring to make s’mores or heading inside for a card game. The host is wonderful; always available to answer a question and very helpful and accommodating. This trip is getting harder to do each year as the daughters & nephews grow, but I’m hoping we can continue the tradition and return to this beautiful property… To our Hosts I say “Thank You”….

Beautiful setting and gorgeous luxury home on tranquil, clear Ten Mile Lake! We enjoyed plenty of space to play cards and games as well as perfect sleeping accommodations. We kayaked, swam and fished daily. Owners were very responsive if we had any questions. Sunsets on the dock were amazing! We highly recommend for a family vacation spot.
