Stayed Aug 3, 2025Magical. The green stairs should be thought of as a ladder. The house is not the most glamorous but I loved not having to worry about anything. I can't wait to go back it was perfect. Bring sheets and towels. This is Block Island the way it used to be.

Stayed Jun 22, 2025Such a quiet spot! I don’t think we heard or saw another person during our entire stay. The house was comfortable and well stocked. I especially appreciated the laundry being on the main floor, the outdoor shower, and the miles of clothes line! Everything you need when you’re back and forth to the beach every day!

Stayed Aug 4, 2024This is a very special place. Old world and rustic, charming, off the beaten path. Weather was strange this week, but when the hurricane veered west we ended with a beautiful weekend. We had a wonderful family time.

Stayed Oct 8, 2023Charming and interesting historic home, with all the necessities. Appreciate the heads up about steep stairs, low ceilings upstairs. The full size bed upstairs had some complaints. The best part of being here was the homeyness, quiet, and being a nice walk to a gorgeous rocky beach.

Stayed Sep 24, 2023Very old school beauty of a home. Property was peaceful and beautiful, woodsy but not far from town. Deer and pheasant in yard each morning and close to town. Perfect and idyllic, like a step back in time.

Stayed Sep 3, 2023The house is very rustic, but it is tucked away in a nice little piece of property. Our dogs had plenty of room to run around. The owner was very attentive and we enjoyed the fresh honey and honey mustard very much. Don't go if you are expecting the Hilton, but if you want a unique experience, this is for you.

Stayed Aug 27, 2023You couldn’t find a better location and rental on BI than this. The house has everything you could possibly need and a great outdoor area with a picnic table, grill and outdoor shower. The location is amazing: just a short walk down a picturesque trail to a stunningly beautiful beach and you have it basically all to yourself.
