Stayed Nov 26, 2025Mrs. Joy was wonderful in providing all that was needed. She even let us check in early. We had a great time celebrating our Thanksgiving dinner. The home has everything that is needed to stay. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. We enjoyed the swing on the porch. My adult children loved the cabin look. Loved the heater in the bathroom. Kids enjoy looking at the antique decor around the house.

Stayed Aug 8, 2025It was a very nice quiet stay in the country. Loved the old antiques in the log cabin. Joy was fantastic to work wit. If you arent a fancy person and like the peacefulness of country but close to the city this place is for you.

Surrounded by grassland with grazing cattle we especially enjoyed relaxing on the porch watching the sun rise and the stars coming out at night. Weather was hot but AC kept us nice and comfy. Beds were comfortable. Convenient to Seguin. Met the owners and they were super nice.

Stayed Dec 20, 2024Our weekend was very nitheirce. Six senior citizen ladies went to celebrate a 70th birthday and Christmas. We brought all our food and drinks. Plus lots of games for our entertainment. Which worked great for us because we didn't leave the house. The house is off a country road fenced in a small pasture. There is nothing there besides another house. So bring everything with you unless you plan to go into town. It was perfect for us old ladies.and Christmas

Stayed May 31, 2024We really enjoyed the mid 1800's style cabin with modern amenities. We even got to see deer. It's was quiet and the morning view from the front porch was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
