Stayed May 16, 2025We hosted my sister-in-laws baby shower at Opa’s house and had a pretty great experience. We had some AC problems on the first night but Joy was able to send someone out to fix it right away and provided a partial refund for the troubles! There were also some creepy crawlies (as to be expected out in the country) but overall had a great time. Would definitely book this lovely cabin again for future family events!

Stayed May 7, 2025House was much bigger than expected, love the old charm. Daily Scorpions in the house were a bit shocking for my washington child. Beds were comfortable. I did have to make an emergency run to get TP as there was only one back up roll left. it really was a fun stay.botbathrooms

Stayed Aug 8, 2024Overall, it was a great stay in the country. Be ready for scorpions and other little critters. There is an additional charge per day after 2 guests that we didn't realize at booking. Fun, little place to stay with lots of history.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024We enjoyed our stay at Opa’s house. I used to live in Kingsbury and I know there is a lot of bugs and wildlife but I was shocked by the number of scorpions in the house. There is not much that can be done about that but be on the look out. After the first night they started leaving us alone and really enjoyed the rest of our trip. The house is close to lots of fun activities but far enough out in the country to enjoy the quiet.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024Great little place out of the city. We came for the weekend to float the river. It was close to 3 different rivers with plenty of options near by to rent tubes. Qlso close enough to town to run and get food as needed.

Stayed Jun 7, 2024This was a great place to stay it was very comfortable and nice. The property manager was very helpful after we locked ourself out. My only complaint was there were a decent amount of scorpions we had to deal with.
