Stayed Jan 1, 2024Best part of the stay was the staff: Ridouane and Malika were awesome! Hotel itself was immaculate. We rented the whole riad for 1 week - key takeaway is this is not a VRBO. Riad was reserved for whole family trip. I’ve been to Morocco 15+ times and wanted to share Morocco with the whole family. We reserved this location with the expectation that the family could do our own thing. We didn’t discover the “no outside food or drink” until we arrived - that is not mentioned in listing at all. We were unable to enjoy the common areas with our own food/drink. We had no access to kitchen or refrigerators. Not able to have our own snacks in common areas as a family is really disappointing for a VRBO. We can walk 5 minutes to the store to get coke for 5mad and waters for 6mad, but you are supposed to purchase directly from riad for 20mad each. The breakfast was subpar - basically just bread every day except one where we had an egg. If we had access to kitchen, we could have prepared our own breakfast. Also note, a couple cameras inside the riad. If you are in the bedroom on ground floor next to kitchen, the camera points right into your room so keeping the windows/door open is not an option. No main entry key was provided so we had to wake up the staff any time we came in late. Again, this is not a VRBO - it’s staffed as a hotel and would be great with that in mind. Would not recommend if you are expecting traditional VRBO where you have access to everything.

Stayed May 24, 2023We LOVED this Riad. Over our 2 week, multi city journey this was the family’s favorite stay. The staff was so personable and made us an in-house traditional Moroccan dinner for our first night in their country. The rooms we beautiful and equipped with small AC units for the warmer evenings that we experienced there. The only downside to this Riad was the location as it was deep in a maze of alleyways that we tried not to venture out without a guide for fear of not being able to find out way back. Regardless, the Riad was homey and offered everything we wanted making the visit so incredibly enjoyable.

Stayed May 20, 2023The place was exactly as listed. Was a bit difficult to find but once we did we remembered the route. Very close to Medina shops and restaurants. It was close to major things to see. Eating breakfast on the roof terrace was nice. There was a great hang out area on the roof for the 8 of us to hang out together. There were 4 chaise chairs and eating tables. Not a place for anyone that has walking and stair climbing issues.
