Stayed Jul 30, 2025This is a nice property and convenient for getting into town, but we arrived at the house and it was probably 100 degrees inside the house. Hotter inside than outside. It had been a very hot week and the owner didn't make any preparations to provide window air conditioners in the main areas of the house. There were just very small ACs in the bedrooms, and in the larger primary bedroom it did little to cool the room. We all had to huddle in the primary bedroom to stay somewhat cool and play cards the night we arrived. We tried contacting Evolve and the agent was dismissive. She said they'd launch an investigation and get back to us in 2 hours, and that took 3 days - they wrote to us after we had already left. The contact person for the house is the cleaning person, she was empathetic but could do very little to help us. She contacted the owner and they said they only provide ACs in the bedrooms. This was not what we saw in the listing. It was not a nice way to start our vacation. We had family that traveled from across the country and it was upsetting. We were all sweating while we tried to eat dinner. They offered to bring an AC the next day but the weather had already cooled down. Luckily the rest of our stay was pretty comfortable. The house was relatively clean but there were a ton of dust bunnies and bugs all around the baseboards and under tables. It was not to our standards.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025This property was very homey and rustic, and had everything you need to cook a great meal, sit by the bar, listen to music, relax and have fun! It is also very close to everything!

Stayed Jul 26, 2024I loved this house. It was so spacious and light. Beds and linens were comfortable . Kitchen had everything one could ask for. And the patio was wonderful with its view of a lovely garden. Set back off the road, it was quiet and surrounded by nature.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969What a charming house! Peaceful interiors and exteriors and close to town (for us non-drivers, it took about 30 minutes to walk into Woodstock). Will definitely recommend this place to friends!

Stayed Oct 21, 2022We had a wonderful weekend at this property! The house was so cozy and comfortable! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and plenty of room for us to visit visit with our family! The property is beautiful! We enjoyed our morning sightings of the deer. We look forward to coming again!

Stayed Oct 14, 2022This is a very comfortable house with great outdoor space, as well. The listing does not mention, however, that the house has been divided into three separate spaces. The downstairs bedroom shares a wall with another property. I could hear a football game and eager cheering as I tried to go to sleep.
