Here you can experience some of the finest dining in the Hudson Valley, along with great boutique shopping and organic local food stores. If you are a music lover, we are a 2 -minute walk to Levon Helm Studios, where you can attend a Midnight Ramble. If you love hiking, we are surrounded by great trails throughout the Catskills & can recommend a local guide.

The owners designed and built our home with an abundant amount of care and attention to detail -- both inside the house and with the connection to the 10.5 acres that it sits within -- allowing for a serene environment one retreats to when looking for the perfect getaway in the Catskills. Our home is conveniently located 45 mins to Hunter, Belleayre and Windham ski resorts and 100 miles North of New York City. This spacious, 4000 square foot house is a stunning, high-end, three-story post and beam Douglas Fir home that is rustic and elegant with a blend of different styles - modern, old, eclectic and luxurious. The nautical pieces and theme throughout the home are testimony of the owners love of the ocean and their world travels, spanning over 30 years. This is the perfect home for family/friend’s getaways, reunions, and/or special gatherings.

The natural elements of wood, stone and steel are incorporated both inside and outside the home. Other architectural features include cedar siding, stone walls, and custom -made steel railings, which were made by a local artisan who created a tree sculpture within the rail.

This airy, bright home dominated by the vaulted ceilings and multiple French doors & windows has a sense of openness with great sun exposure, mountain views and sightings of the local birds and wildlife.

The three levels of this home offer numerous relaxation areas for reading, playing games, meditation, yoga and napping.

FIRST LEVEL
The first level is the entry point. You will find the large combination laundry/mud room -- fully equipped with shoe racks and a long seating area with a wall full of coat racks.
There is one guest bedroom with queen bed. There is a large closet and radiant heated floors. In-between the bedrooms is a huge guest bathroom with a jacuzzi spa bath, a spacious walk-in shower, radiant heat flooring, plush towels and all basic toiletries.

To note: The north facing bedroom has access to the outside L-shape deck that houses the hammock nook, chaise lounges and the barbeque grill. This is the perfect space to relax and watch the kids play on the large lawn area and/or on the trampoline.

SECOND LEVEL
The great room is the heart of the house and it is magnificent! The 2-story, high vaulted Douglas Fir ceilings showcase a hand-built stone fireplace with a granite bluestone mantle. The woodstove heats the entire home and gives an incredible feeling of a cozy and romantic ambiance. Just off the great room on the deck is the wood-shed where you have easy access to gather your firewood. There is also a large, oversized, deep-cushioned, L-shaped couch that is complimented by two adorning sitting chairs and a large coffee table. A 65” wall mounted LG television with Apple TV service makes this room the perfect place for streaming music, watching sports or having a fun, family ‘movie night.’

There is also an adjacent sitting area with a couch where one can relax and read and/or take an afternoon nap.

Steps away from the great room is a chef’s kitchen. What the great room does to one’s filling one’s heart, this gourmet kitchen does to filling one’s stomach.

The open-floor plan was designed by the owner who is a professional chef, and it is not only highly functional, but also a captivating space for preparing meals while guests and/or family linger in the kitchen.

This Chef’s Kitchen has a Bertrozoni gas range, a Bosch dishwasher and a refrigerator with an ice maker and water. There is also an oversized sink under a large window that overlooks the woods and property. The countertops offer a generous area for food preparation and hold a Nespresso, an in-built microwave, a wine refrigerator and lots of storage cupboards. The kitchen is equipped with a complete set of dishes, glassware, cutlery, bakeware, serving platters and other modern amenities you need to prepare your meals, desserts, and drinks.

Within the kitchen area is also a dining table that seats 6 people. During the warmer months, you can enjoy the great outdoors by dining on the incredible U-shaped deck that looks out onto the grassy lawn and a spectacular view of Overlook Mountain. This deck offers guests hours to enjoy beautiful sunrises, sunsets and stargazing with a Telmu telescope and binoculars.

This level also has a powder room and a separate office with two desks, bookshelves and a HP copy/printer/scanner and a EERO Wifi booster.

THIRD LEVEL
The third level of the house is like living in a tree-top sanctuary. Light-filled from all angles, this quiet space allows one to retreat to the cozy lounge with two velvet upholstered sofas or to head to the Master Suite.

The Master Suite is a tranquil and harmonious room – a true oasis with a king size bed adorned in luxurious linens and lavish pillows. The large windows showcase the mountain vista right from the bed. There is also a reading nook and a small balcony to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or to just to open the French doors and let the mountain air in!
The master bathroom has double sinks, hotel-plush towels and while you are showering enjoy the view of the woods and the tree-tops.

TRAMPOLINE/ GRASS FIELD
There is a state-of-the-art trampoline with secure netting that children and adults will love to play in. The grassy field at the front of the house is a great place to set up the soccer nets, a picnic or doing some yoga.

SECURITY
The house is equipped with CO2/smoke alarms and a home security system.

PETS
Sorry, no pets are permitted on the premises except licensed therapy dogs. Please note that a $100 pet fee applies.
