    The cottage is very clean and well stocked. The location is only a few blocks from downtown and close to the beach which was nice for our family vacation with three kids. Things we did not enjoy were the very uncomfortable beds (too short for my 6’1 husband), black ants all over the kitchen even with ant traps all over the floor, and the dated outlets that would not charge electronics. The host was very communicative and available to answer our questions so over all a nice vacation.

    Good location, and walkability. Short drive to beach, but could have walked. House had beach chairs and towels, and everything we needed for our weekend stay. Very cozy and comfortable.

    This house was rented to accommodate guests from out of town who were coming to Charlevoix to visit us (full-time residents of CVX). The house had plenty of space for two couples & one child. It was clean and well appointed. Spacious laundry room, comfortable beds, well stocked with daily essentials. It’s located just a few blocks from downtown CVX and the marina (and close to our house!!!). The house is not air-conditioned and can get a little too warm if it’s sunny & 70 degrees outside. It would benefit from a couple of window a/c units, which might also alleviate the slightly musty smell. Exterior maintenance could be better - lots of weeds & and the gutters desperately need cleaned. Slight hiccup at check-in: we were given the wrong code for the keyless entry. Having said that, our guests enjoyed their stay very much.

    Well stocked, well appointed, and well within walking distance of the beach and downtown. The cottage was a welcome, safe, and lovely place to return to after a long day at the beach. More of a comment on Charlevoix itself: the city's sidewalks are inconsistent and walking in the road with kids and fast neighborhood traffic can be a little dicey. Thank you, wonderful hosts!
