The Space:

❤️ What I Love About Poolside Paradise — and Why You’ll Love Staying Here

What makes Poolside Paradise special is simple: the house becomes part of your vacation.

Spend the afternoon swimming in your private pool, challenge the family to a game of pool in the game room, spread out between multiple living spaces, relax on the deck, and finish the evening gathered around the fire pit.

And when you're ready to explore, you're staying in Walton, Kentucky, about 20 minutes from the Ark Encounter and conveniently located for trips to the Creation Museum, Northern Kentucky, Florence, and Cincinnati.

With 5 private bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and accommodations for up to 12 guests, there's plenty of room for larger families and groups to enjoy the trip together without feeling crowded.

Whether you're planning an Ark Encounter family vacation, Creation Museum trip, multi-generational getaway, summer pool vacation, family reunion, or Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky weekend, Poolside Paradise gives you the space and amenities to make the trip memorable.

📍 PRIVATE POOL

The private swimming pool is one of the biggest reasons to choose Poolside Paradise.

Spend warm Kentucky afternoons swimming, let the kids cool off after a day of sightseeing, or simply relax poolside while everyone enjoys some downtime.

Instead of having to plan an activity every minute of your vacation, you can come home from the Ark Encounter or Creation Museum and still have something everyone looks forward to.

The pool is not heated and is seasonally available from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

📍 GAME ROOM + SECOND LIVING AREA

Ready for some friendly competition

Head downstairs to the dedicated game room and rack up a game of pool.

The nearby second living area gives your group another comfortable place to relax and provides valuable extra space when you're traveling with up to 12 people.

Kids can hang out downstairs while adults relax upstairs—or bring everyone together for a family pool tournament.

Between the game room, private swimming pool, fire pit, deck, and multiple living spaces, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained even when you're not sightseeing.

📍 OUTDOOR LIVING

Some of the best parts of a stay at Poolside Paradise happen outside.

Enjoy:

✓ Private seasonal swimming pool

✓ Spacious deck

✓ Outdoor seating

✓ Fire-pit gathering area

✓ Backyard space

Start your morning outside with coffee, spend the afternoon swimming, and finish the evening around the fire pit talking about the day's adventures.

It's a setup that works especially well for families who want a combination of sightseeing and relaxing at the vacation home.

📍 LIVING ROOM

The bright, open main living room provides a comfortable gathering place for your group.

Sink into the spacious sectional, watch a movie or favorite show on the TV, or simply relax together after a full day exploring Kentucky.

The open-concept layout flows naturally into the kitchen and dining area, allowing everyone to spend time together even while meals are being prepared.

📍 KITCHEN + DINING

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for preparing everything from a quick breakfast before the Ark Encounter to a family dinner at home.

You'll have:

✓ Stainless-steel appliances

✓ Full-size refrigerator

✓ Range & microwave

✓ Dishwasher

✓ Stone countertops

✓ Generous prep space

✓ Cookware & dining ware

✓ Kitchen island seating

✓ Dining table with seating for 6

The open layout makes it easy to cook, eat, and spend time together without separating the group.

The home includes the primary ensuite plus two additional full guest bathrooms, helping everyone get ready more efficiently before heading out for the day.

For larger families, that's a completely different vacation experience than returning to several separate hotel rooms.

📍 VISITING THE CREATION MUSEUM

Planning to experience both the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum

Poolside Paradise makes a comfortable home base for a multi-day Northern Kentucky vacation.

After exploring the Creation Museum, return to Walton and enjoy an evening at the house rather than searching for another activity.

Having 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen, private pool, and game room is particularly useful for families spending several days in the area.

📍 EXPLORE NORTHERN KENTUCKY + CINCINNATI

The Ark and Creation Museum may bring you to Northern Kentucky, but there's much more to experience while you're here.

The home was not near as nice as it was in the photos. Living room furniture and dining room chairs need to be replaced not in good condition. There was no access from the deck to the backyard pool and fire pit. Deck furniture was in bad condition one of the chairs broke when my daughter sat down and her leg was scratched up pretty bad. There were nine of us staying at the house and there were not enough towels in the bathrooms. We had to ask for more. The kitchen was not very well stocked with silverware. We had to go and purchase plastics wear so we all had forks and spoons. We have stayed at several other homes and this has been the worst experience.

Great location for visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. The pool was larger than I expected, and the perfect depth for our 8 year old and 11 year old (I estimate 4 feet deep).Everyone enjoyed the game room with the pool table and ping pong table top which fit onto the pool table.

We had a fantastic time! Matt was wonderful at answering all our questions and concerns with kindness and patience. We had a small maintenance issue and they had someone come out immediately. Would absolutely recommend! The house was clean and well maintained. The rooms were spotless and beds were super comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, close to shopping and stores. Weather was too cold for the pool but it hadn't been set up for swimming anyway so it all worked out. Thank you for hosting our 1st family vacation!!

The property is in a nice, central location to visit the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. We had a party of 5 adults, and the layout of the house was wonderful to accommodate gathering and privacy. The house is well-maintained and very clean, and Matt was a great host!

Check in process a little cumbersome and first time I’ve had to use an automated system to capture a picture of my ID. But other than that, everything was great! House is as advertised and well stocked. Check out process was very easy and host checked in on us a couple of times to make sure things were going well.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. House was great for our family. The pool was closed for the fall/winter season. Really quiet neighborhood. Two bedrooms were on the ground level and two bedrooms were downstairs. Great dining room and living room.

We had an issue with the complicated coffee maker that kept giving us error messages. We communicated with Matt several times and he responded promptly and offered suggestions. We were able to fix it somewhat but it kept having issues. I’d say the over all stay was excellent except for the ongoing coffee machine issues.

Lots of room in the house, pool was crystal clear. Close to amenities.A few things needed some work and entire house could use some tlc for minor things like toilet paper holder in master was missing, fridge filter needs replaced, coffee maker not working. Also could use a deep clean, fan blades dusty, bottom of fridge need some love. Ants in the kitchen.

This was a family vacation and we enjoyed staying at the house. It was clean the pool was very clean. I’m a senior citizen and I have back problems so I could not sit on any of the couches which were very low. Also, in the three bathrooms, there was only one hand towel. It would’ve been nice to have additional towels. Other than that, it was a great stay. I communicated with the owners and they were very cooperative and I would recommend the house for a family vacation.

The house was very clean and having all the toiletries supplied was a huge plus. The beds are not made for tall people though. Very low to the floor and so is the sofa. The sofa definitely needs to be replaced because it sinks down when you sit on it. Kitchen could use a couple extra pots and pans and a larger skillet. The neighbors were all very friendly with us! Great location for a quiet stay.

The property is great - as is the location. Upon arrival though, we noticed several things out of sort. About a half cup of dry rice in the lower cabinets, soy sauce throughout the utensil drawer, and the utensils in the drawer had food stuck to them. Im giving 4 stars because the property manager was very responsive and offered to correct it quickly. We decided to do a quick tidy up and take care of the inconvenience. The neighbors are wonderful and the location is great if you have a family.

This house was the perfect place for our family to stay. Located halfway between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, each was an easy 1/2 hour drive away. The house was big enough for the adults to each have a bedroom on the ground floor and the kids to enjoy the basement. This was my first time working with Grand Welcome, and I must say it was a treat. My liaison texted me ahead of time so that I could just text back if we needed anything. When we arrived, the house was true to the pictures. Mom and I looked in the kitchen cabinets and encountered a problem though. There were very few pots and pans to cook with for our large group of 7. When I expressed my concern to the liaison, she immediately asked what we needed and had it there for us within just a couple of hours! Talk about excellent customer service. Our stay was amazing. The house had plenty of room to spread out at the end of the day, and my mother, who has trouble getting around on stairs, had no trouble accessing everything on the ground floor.
