Historic Home, Perfectly Located Between The Ark and The Creation Museum.

This property has been well thought out by the owner. Every detail has been covered and you will not lack for anything here. The location was perfectly situated for us to visit both the Ark and the Creation Museum. Very clean and feels very new. The train noise was NOT an issue at all.

The best looking house we have stayed in!!! Absolutely stunning decorations and so cozy!! The owners are just amazing! Answered all questions and were so kind! The town is just precious!! Love it here!!! A must for vacation!!!

We enjoyed our stay! The house is cozy and very welcoming. It was clean and arranged nicely. While the description mentioned the proximity to the railroad, it was not bothersome for sleeping. We had our air conditioners on so it covered up some of the sound. The parking area was large enough to accommodate two cars per rental. We could back up to the back door to unload and then pull ahead to park. The refurbishing of this older house was fantastic! Great paint job, flooring and countertops. I could just see my little grandma maybe living here at some time in the past!Our host was so helpful throughout the rental process. He even contacted us during our stay to see if we needed anything. We've never experienced such good service!We definitely would this property! If we are ever out in the area again we will try to stay here.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this VRBO rental! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable—truly felt like a home away from home.The amenities were top-notch, and every detail had clearly been thought through. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were super cozy, and the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location was also ideal—close to everything we needed, and perfect.location for anyone visiting the Ark encounter or Creation museum.Communication with the host was seamless. I would absolutely recommend this property! You can tell that the owner put a lot of thought into furnishing and stocking the unit. The kitchen was the most well stocked rental we have ever stayed in. The location is absolutely perfect. 20-30 minutes from the airport, Ark, and Creation museum (kinda in the middle of all of them) 5 minutes from a grocery store and other shops. It is an ADORABLE historic home. The only warning I have is that all of the bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs are very steep. The floors slant in certain places like all historic homes. Little kids that are new to walking or people with borderline mobility issues might have a hard time.

Host was very welcoming and made sure we were well taken care of! The house was exceptionally clean, stocked with everything we could possibly need, and very cozy. Great stay!

This home was just as listed. Really neat house nicely re-done and updated. Nice little living room space for TV time. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was really nice . All bedrooms were very nice. Both bathrooms were clean and updated as well. Outdoor space was really neat just too cold when we were there to enjoy it. As listed there is a railroad track behind the home but wasn’t a reason not to stay there in my opinion. We visited the Ark encounter and the Creation Museum during our visit and this home is located between the 2 and close to Florence for plenty of dining and shopping choices .

Everything was amazing me and my family enjoyed our time. We would definitely rent here from again. Love the neighborhood I would recommend this.

We were in town for just a short weekend, but we would definitely go back and stay again. It’s beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. The only problem with 6 people staying is that there isn’t indoor seating for 6 to eat.

The property was amazing. Comfortable beds, roomy and located perfectly between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We did hear the train, but it was not a big deal. Kinda cool actually. If we ever get that part of the country again, we would ABSOLUTELY stay at this rental again.

My husband and I brought our two widowed grandmothers to stay here for the weekend so they could see the Ark and Creation museum. This home was perfectly located between both! The house was so clean and so well stocked! The hosts were quickly communicative if we needed something! The second we walked in it felt like home! The hosts truly think of everything you’d need to stay here with the upmost comfortability! My grandmothers raved about the decor, high-end bedding, and fully stocked kitchen! We would 100% recommend this home to anyone and stay here again!

Nice house with easy access and good parking. Beautifully decorated with nice rooms sizes with all bedrooms on the second floor. Beds were very comfy. Overall we had a very nice stay during our visot to the area. It is very close to train tracks but they were not overly loud as they went by.

All of us were very impressed with our stay at this property in Walton. It was perfectly situated for our trip to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. The house was very well equipped, super organized and very clean. We really liked the fact a restaurant was just a short walk away.

This historic home was perfect for our group of 4 senior adults, and when we walked in, it felt so friendly and welcoming! The kitchen and eating area are spectacular, and the beds were super comfy. It was handy to have one bathroom downstairs and one upstairs with the bedrooms. We didn't need to use the laundry area, but I wish mine at home looked like that! The living room is set up perfectly for sitting and chatting and the porch and back patio are wonderful. The location was perfect for visiting The Ark and the Creation Museum. The house is easy to access, but set back from the street, with ample, private parking. The whole area is so beautiful and you can even walk to get ice cream! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

The host was great to work with. Everything explained in the listing was accurate. The home was very clean and contained all the needed appliances. we especially enjoyed the newly remodeled home but also the period trim that was kept by the owners to give this home a special nostalgic feeling. Next time we are up that way we will book with them again.

What a blessing to find this beautiful little home, perfectly situated between the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, which was the purpose for our visit! May be somewhat small in square footage, but every single space was so smartly put to use. There were six adults in our party and we never felt cramped. And to say, the owners have thought of everything, is an understatement! Whatever you need for your stay… Rest assured it will be there! We had an issue the last night of our stay, and the owners were their lickity split to rectify the problem. Very friendly and courteous! You won’t regret choosing this little gem!
