Private Courtyard with Hot Tub... Ocean View...2 min. walk to bluff

The property was exactly as described - wonderful location. We were right on a path that directly to the bluffs overlooking the beach - maybe three or four houses down. We enjoyed watching the golfers - apparently this property is on the signature hole of Sea Ranch. We also found the piano to be a pleasant surprise

This VRBO checked all the boxes of what we have come to expect in a stay. Clean, good instructions for all appliances, excellent communication with host. (He contacted us before our stay with details and check-in instructions.) We have no hesitations to stay again.

Beautiful super clean home with very comfortable beds and stunning sunset views. The layout also added extra privacy for the bedrooms so great for sharing with family or friends. Also really appreciated an actually stocked kitchen so cooking was easy. Really liked the location close to Gualala and the Del Mar recreation center for the pool and sauna.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sea Ranch, with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset, and a gorgeous home to stay in. The hot tub was delightful, the living room was cozy and comfy for reading, and we loved hiking the trails at Sea Ranch.

Beautiful home just a 2-minute walk from the bluff trail and with views of the sunset from the huge living room windows. The kitchen, unlike many at Sea Ranch, is well equipped for cooking and the hot tub was a welcome respite from the day's hiking. John was super responsive and a great host. Highly recommended.

Great House! Great Location! Comfortable beds!

Our host was very responsive and helpful, and check in and out was a very straightforward. The house is located in a great spot (close the bluff trail for an easy walk to cliffs to watch the sunsets and hiking) on the north side of Sea Ranch - and a short drive to the Lodge and even closer to Gualala, and only one hour to Mendocino on Highway 1. The house and all the amenities were in working order and we very much enjoyed our stay!

What stood out most was how quiet and serene the house and its surroundings were. Great to be so close to the bluffs.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sea Ranch, spending our time hiking the nearby trails and playing golf on the recently re-opened course. Ocean views, beautiful weather and a clean and comfortable home with plenty of room to spread out, made our stay very relaxing. We were conveniently located to both Gualala and the Sea Ranch Lodge. Our host, John, was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Lovely location and nice views. Hot tub was perfect temperature. Very nice dining area. Direct TV did not work but we informed the host and that was just a minor inconvenience. Overall, we had a great time and loved the fact that it was only a few minutes from Gualala.

We had a very nice stay. Everything was clean and well kept. Sea Ranch is beautiful, we always enjoy staying there. John was very easy to deal with.

The website shows a birds-eye-view of the 9th tee. Was VERY disappointed to find out that the golf course was actually closed! That was actually one of the reasons I booked this house.

Wonderful stay, enjoyed the house!

This was a perfect place to spend a few days in July! The weather was amazing and the walk along the bluff trail occupied most of our days. We saw so much wildlife! The house itself has beautiful architecture, spacious places to unwind and read/relax, and of course the hot tub. The beds were comfy with soft linens. About 4 minutes drive away there is Surf Market that supplies anything you could hope to cook. John was easy to communicate with and the check-in/check-out was well organized and easy to understand. We can’t wait to find a time to return!

Another wonderful relaxing stay at the Sea Ranch.

The place was a beautiful place to stay but when we got there my daughter found four spiders in her bed as well as other unidentifiable bugs in her bed and refused to sleep in that room. The oven did not work and only one burner worked which made it very difficult for cooking. The location is spectacular but would have appreciated everything clean and in working order.

The property was just as advertised and a lovely getaway for us for two nights. The access to coastal walks was a breeze and gorgeous, and the proximity to what we wanted to e plots was exactly as described. The house is very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay and instructions were clear and precise. Thank you! We’ll be back!

IT WAS PERFECT. WE FOUND TONS OF THINGS TO DO, ESPECIALLY, THE 90 MINUTE MASSAGE IN GUALALA!

It was a great property near the ocean and bluff trails/ hiking trails. It is also located in the northern part of Sea Ranch, so it is close to town (Gualala)—just a beautiful home and location.

We enjoyed the property, the hiking, Gualala (nearby), and St Ores. We all would definitely do it again:)

Nice but with 3rd bedroom detached from home, dont think it works for us

My husband and I, along with his sister and her husband just had a fabulous weekend at Castlehaven. The architecture of the home itself is quite unique. Add the perfect Sea Ranch location, two ensuite bedrooms in the house (there is also a third bedroom that we did not use), well equiped kitchen, hot tub -- all 5 minutes from the Bluff Trail, and it is truly a special place. Communication with our host was quite easy and check out a dream. We hope to return!

This was our second stay at Castlehaven, and once again, it did not disappoint. We loved the breathtaking views, the cozy and well-appointed furniture, the relaxing hot tub, and, most of all, the charming piano. Communication with the host was straightforward and flawless. As there was no moon during our stay, the stars put on a marvelous show each night too. Highly recommend.

The master bedroom carpet was very dirty; should provide shampoo or at least soap for the showers.

Sea ranch is beautiful and there is a lot to do and see. The location of the house is perfect and it is clean, comfortable, and very spacious.

We really enjoyed our stay at Castlehaven. The home is spacious, airy and comfortable. Nice to have a hot tub outside and a jetted tub inside. The Bluff Trail is close by so we did a lot of hiking. Played tennis at the Ohlson Rec Center. Can’t beat tennis with a view of the ocean! The golf course was very nice and uncrowded. The weather was absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend Twofish Baking Co. The only negative was ants visiting the kitchen.
