Thank you Eric and Francine! Our stay was fantastic. The two suites had everything we needed for our stay including all household amenities and was very clean. Eric gave a tour of the house to help us get settled in. Eric was generous supplying fire wood, prepping the fire while we were out, keeping drive way clear of snow, refilling hot tub water and providing restaurant recommendations. We were a pretty loud group and stayed up late and stated our mornings early and loud but heard no complaints which was a relief as most listings had noise restrictions. We’ve never stayed in an accommodation with the hosts living on site so we were a bit worried at first however they actually made us feel more at home and were extra accommodating. They also had lots of snow activities but we mostly used the hot tub and sauna as we spent our days out snowboarding. The house was well maintained and gave cozy Chalet vibes, was even better than the photos. I’d highly recommend!

Gorgeous, private, incredible outdoor spaces. Indoor spaces wonderful too but the outdoor spaces were the best. The weather kept us outside both a the house and beach. Wonderful hosts!!

It was our first trip to Vermont and it certainly won't be the last. Our hosts Eric and Francine were warm and welcoming upon our arrival. Eric graciously showed us around the house and we knew immediately we had made the right choice. The house was comfortable and so well appointed. The weather was perfect for all the outdoors activities we wanted to do. The hot tub and sauna were so inviting but the warm summer air kept us from enjoying them. We had access to lots of firewood and a fire every night made for fun conversation. They each offered suggestions for hiking and places to visit, as well as great places to enjoy all that Vermont has to offer in the way of restaurants everywhere. We all spent time paddling on the reservoir in the canoes that were there. Ben and Jerry's is right down the road so this ice cream loving crew were thrilled. A great time was had by all and we traveled home with grateful hearts and a new family chapter filled width memories.

Came up for a family ski week at Stowe and we stayed here as it was a more affordable option than staying in Stowe proper. We loved all the property amenities - hot tub, sauna, snow shoes, sleds, we used it all! The drive to the ski resort wasn’t bad at all. Eric was very communicative and responsive. I usually don’t stay at a place where the owners live on property but they weren’t intrusive.

Fall colors were on full display in Vermont and this amazing 30 acre homestead provided a perfect 5 night stay for 7 adults. Eric and Francine are gracious hosts who provided the home’s unique history. We all enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, sauna, pool table, fully equipped kitchen and large dining table and spacious back porch with a view of wild turkeys loitering near the private beach.

We drove up to VT to be greeted by 10 inches of snow on Friday, which quickly melted allowing us to sit on the sunny lawn and enjoy the cloudless eclipse on Monday. The property is great, and Francine and Eric make the experience fabulous. They are available to answer any ques or give vacation suggestions. They know the area!! Bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and comfortable and clean!! We used the desk in loft bedroom as a work space during the day as several of our family were working remotely during our visit. Although I do think it works as an addn bedroom. We did most of our cooking in the bottom level, but it was nice to have addn fridge room upstairs. The kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, plates etc. My husband and I stayed upstairs and it wasn't a prob moving between spaces. The walkways were covered and the deck upstairs had a beautiful view of the mountains. In warmer weather that's where I'd be dining. The pool table was fun, and the sauna and hot tub were used several times. We only had one car so it was nice to be able to walk down to the cider mill and grab a bite, or shop. Additionally there are several restaurants nearby and a large grocery store on the way. The property sits on a beautiful reservoir and they have several canoes to help you enjoy it. The Chittendens are excellent hosts, know Vermont, and make your stay very enjoyable. I would recommend this vacation spot without hesitation!
