Stayed Sep 11, 2025Fantastic stay, the property is beautiful and fully stocked for everyone to do something!The firepit in the back is gorgeous and you get great visibility of the stars.The only issue we had was that the water smelled like sulfur and it was pretty intense especially in the shower.

Stayed Jul 26, 2023This was our third visit to Acorn Grove and we are already looking forward to our next stay. The house is perfect for large groups. Stocked with an unexpected amount games and activities for both kids and adults. Close proximity to public beach, excellent outdoor fire area, and garage with pool / ping pong table is great in case of rain.

Stayed Aug 14, 2022Enjoyed our stay at Acorn Grove. Home was clean and comfortable with plenty of space for our family. Enjoyed the books, games, pool table, and campfire pit. Close to plenty of fun places for day trips. Easy check in and check out process.

Stayed Aug 11, 2022Our annual long weekend getaway trip was hosted here at Acorn Grove! Our host was AMAZING, answered all our detailed questions leading right up to the day of the trip. The cottage was just as charming as the pictures show. Felt like we had plenty of privacy from neighbors. Spent a lot of time in the garage with the pool table and tons of other outdoor game options. About 10-15 minutes to downtown Pentwater, scenic drive. It was hard to get cell phone service even with connecting to the wi-fi but that's often true for lakeshore properties. Also couldn't get the streaming services (apps) to work on the living room TV on our rainy day but the den TV worked better. Loved the beach access nearby Cedar Point park. Thanks for the great stay!
