Port A Ponderosa | Located Downtown, Private Pool!

Great time at this amazing place!

The pool was in great condition, the outdoor furniture needs to be updated but overall in working condition. The jacuzzi jets are not working, so it was basically another mini pool. We had an issue with the jacuzzi water going really low but management sent over a pool person to fix it. The lights around the pool are mostly out. Master bathroom door is broken and does not close properly. The guess bedroom bunk bed makes too much noise, bolts might be loose. The couch bed is broken in the middle so it sinks in, making it unusable. Laundry room smells like cat poop. The kitchen is well stocked.

Be advised you may not have read the 100 pool/hot tub heating fee. It’s not obvious and I’ve spoken to other people who rented and they didn’t see and were shocked on arrival. They also had the same other complaints I’m leaving here. The home was not well cleaned. We had to get rid of roaches. Beds were so bad guests preferred the floor. Master bath door was broken and we got stuck multiple times. I’ve reached out to mgmt multiple times without a response and am saddened to leave this review.

This is a wonderful home and we enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean, but for some reason there are many gnats in kitchen and bathrooms. Its a single story home which is awesome for us older folks. The pool felt like the heater was on so we called maintenance but they never fixed it. The pool was so hot we could barely stand it, not enjoyable. Other than that we would definitely want to stay here again. We had a great time!!! Loved the Ponderosa!

The house was good but upon arrival I noticed the pool and hot tub was green with dirt and algae. The main reason I rented this place was because of the pool and hot tub and could not use either the whole trip. Unfortunately I Would not rent this property again.

Port A Ponderosa was perfect for our long weekend. Lots of amenities…kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, bathrooms had plenty of towels and paper goods, and the beds and pillows gave us a great night's sleep. The living room was comfortable and plenty of space to relax. The pool was so fun and we dined out beside it several times and lounged on the patio every morning and evening. The golf cart was a lot of fun…nice way to cruise town and the beach. We loved the location, close to everything. It's a nice quiet neighborhood. We would love to stay here again!!!

It was a nice vacation house and a great pool. The back yard couch was very dirty and stained, so didn't want to sit on it,even after wiping off. But at least there were other chairs to sit on outside. The back door was very dirty on inside and outside, but wiped it off good, and got it a little cleaner. And the umbrella was missing for the outdoor table, and the outside shower did not work. But other than that, it was a good stay.

We loved the Port A Ponderosa house.No steps you had to climb lol.A beautiful (bigger than most)pools.Loved the country themed decorations through out the house.Had just about everything you look for in a house..Definitely will rent again..❤️??
