Pool View House in Sunday Villas. Great Pool. Short walk to Beach, King bed

The location & space was great! Management did a fantastic job handling the internet being down. Our only complaint (which is out of owners control), is the construction going on right outside the bedroom windows. It woke us up at 7am (sometimes earlier), not ideal for trying to sleep in.

Our family is from Alaska and we were attempting to escape the October rains for the Texas beach. We'd never explored this area of the US either, so we really didn't know what to expect. This was a very cute place! Exactly as described, and great communication with the hosting agent. It was convenient to the beach and town. We didn't really understand what self-catered property meant until we arrived, but there are stores nearby for anything you might need. It was very comfortable for our family! We went in October so we knew weather may impact our visit, and we ended up leaving early but not because of the home - it was very windy which made the beach and pool to challenging to enjoy. We also didn't fully appreciate how off season our stay would be. We had the complex area and pool to ourselves, and it's such a cute area! Everyone we saw was so friendly! But the off season nature made it a little sleepy - combined with the sandblasting wind we ended up exploring off island quite a bit. You can drive to the island, but the ferry is so much more convenient and fun. We would definitely go back and just plan better now that we know what to expect. Thankfully the home was a very lovely place to spend time hanging out in. No complaints!

We loved this house. Great location, clean, comfortable. The close-by pool was awesome to have. We also loved the area under the house where we could just leave all of our wet/sandy stuff. We also parked our car and golf cart under the house and that was very convenient. Upper deck was great for sunsets. Definitely recommend.

The house is fun and perfect.

We loved our stay at the Barefoot Bungalow! Exactly as pictured, we had everything we needed for our stay. With the pool just outside and the beach easily walkable, my daughters made it quick work getting in the water. Laundry on site a plus, you’ll go through plenty of towels. Take advantage of a golf cart rental as well, makes all the little short trips that much more entertaining. We’ll be back! ?

House was clean and spacious, pool was lovely after a day at the beach, and it was just a short golf cart ride to anywhere on the island.

We love Port Aransas. The Barefoot Bungalow was a great place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the shared pool on the property.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house is great and really good equipped. There was also stuff for our kids to play on the beach. We would stay there again if going to Port A. :)

We really enjoyed our time at the Barefoot Bungalow. One room for the 4 kids and one for us was perfect, the kitchen is well stocked and the laundry room was a life saver. The patio on was nice too and a pretty place to sit at sunset. The kids enjoyed walking to the beach (about 8 minutes) but my favorite part was being able to drive right up to the beach which took only a few minutes from the house.

The property was PERFECT for the 4 of us. My mother, son , husband and myself loved it. Was in an excellent location and pleanty of room.
