Out back, the show begins. The pool, spa, and surrounding deck were completely rebuilt in 2025 with fresh plaster, new tiling, and updated features. Just beside it, a private putting green waits for friendly competition, and a basketball hoop, ping pong table, and outdoor lounge round out the scene. A separate laundry station and ice machine sit poolside, because nobody wants to traipse wet feet through the house.

Inside, the kitchen anchors the gathering. A massive granite center island offers bar seating, a beverage center keeps drinks cold, and the modern dining table seats twelve with room to spare.     My three kids, wife, and I stayed at the house. Plenty of space with 6 bedrooms. Pool and Hot tub a plus. We rented golf carts and could ride to the Marina to eat. We brought our boat and kept at the marina as well. You can drive the golf cart to different eating places as well about a mile down the street.

    We’ve stayed at Happy Place 4 times now. Location hard to beat. Amenities are as advertised. Response of property management to deal with a couple minor issues was timely and successful.

    Came for Spring Break. The home is in a great location and perfect for the teenagers to be able to get around on bikes. The rooms house was clean and everything was clearly labeled. Our big issue was the pool and hot tub. The hot tub heated up only twice and we paid for the pool to be heated and although they property company sent service multiple times it never did work. The property management team was very responsive and tried to fix it. Confirm it is all working before paying for this service.

    This house was awesome for ourselves and our two children and their children. Three under 4. Park is close by and beach is right across the street. We had minor issues that were taken care of right away by Beachside Vacations. Great property management company! Pool and spa were under construction ( no work during our stay) but that was fine as the house met all our other needs. Needs a little TLC with paint touch ups and bathroom woodwork but again, no major issues. Would definitely recommend!

    Elevator didn’t work, arcade game broken, pool was cloudy, outside was dirty, whole house needed to be power washed, moldy air registers, hvac filters hadn’t been changed for a very long time. Some Bathrooms need updating. Several exterior landscape lights broken. The layout of the house is fine and probably once was a very nice house but clearly not taken care of and needs updating and repair. Our family rented another cottage down the street for the same price and was in far better shape. Sorry to say this house is not worth the money paid. Made us not so happy being at the “happy place”.

    Location is great. House needs some updates. Grounds are kept just ok. Pool tile was missing tile which was replaced during our stay. Not much to work with in the kitchen. Lots of things but not very useful. Basic essentials.

    Beautiful, spacious home- Even better than the pictures. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. The porches are amazing- on every level and from many bedrooms. The master bedroom was a sanctuary- bed is very comfortable and bathroom very spacious. The outdoor living was also top notch- we used the hot tub almost everyday for the 2 weeks we were there. And the fully fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Location was 1-2 min walk to the beach. Would highly recommend and wound definitely stay there again. Thank you!
