Stayed Jul 22, 2025This private home on the water fit our needs perfectly. Property is very close to town (Center Harbor) and 25 minutes from Meadowbrook (Bank of NH Pavilion) which was the reason for our stay. The home was clean and the beds are comfortable. The updated deck is wonderful. Gorgeous water views!

Stayed Oct 5, 2024Loved the size of the house and the wonderful views of the lake from the living room, kitchen and sunroom/office. Too cool and windy to kayak but that would have been nice, too. Well stocked cabinets and bath items. Only problem was not the house. I am 85 with no accessories needed but would have liked actual railings on the granite stepped entryway along with the decorative birch tree rails.

Stayed Oct 1, 2024We loved our relaxing stay at the Blue Door cottage. Rustic charm, beautiful views, many activities close by. Loved all the modern conveniences including whirlpool tub, adjustable bed, gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and Roku tv. We spent many hour enjoying nature in the wooden rockers on the deck.I’m sure this property is really fun in the summer with swimming and kayaking on the pond. Our only negative is we wish there was a railing on the front steps. Otherwise accessability was great! The You are Lovred theme was very special.❤️

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wakonda Pond is a wonderful place for people who like nature. It's at the foot of Red Hill and you can see all sorts of wildlife -- including many different species of birds, frogs, turtles, and the resident loons. The house has a lovely deck. We enjoyed the pond (bring water shoes for kayaking/swimming as there is not a sandy beach area). It's also close to the shopping and restaurants at Center Harbor.
