Our stay was couldn’t have been any better. The cutest and most artistic home we have slept in. The inside and outside were clean and well kept. I would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay in Roanoke.

This older but well-modernized house offers a quiet and comfortable stay in the Roanoke suburbs. Surprisingly large inside, easy room for up to 3 couples or family with multiple kids. The house is dog friendly with a fully fenced backyard. Two car garage with room for 2 more cars in the driveway and an electric vehicle charger. Gas grill and hot tub on the patio. Inside, very well-appointed with 3 bedrooms (ceiling fans in each), comfortable living room with large-screen TV, a home theater in the basement, and a well-stocked kitchen with all the basics (electric stove, countertop toaster oven, coffeemaker and Keurig) and a good selection of staples, condiments, and spices/seasonings. Washer/dryer in the basement which worked well. Bedding/linens were comfortable and the front bedroom has an adjustable Sleep Number king size. Nice bathroom and shower on the main level. Throughout the home, vibrant and eye-catching decorations make for good conversation starters. Central AC is efficient and effective. Keyless entry on front and back doors worked well throughout the visit. I wouldn't call these negatives, but a few things to be aware of. The neighborhood has some sidewalks and you can walk to a couple of restaurants and other businesses, but there isn't much to do in the immediate area, and some of the local choices require you to cross Brambleton Ave., a semi-busy thoroughfare with no crosswalks. You'll want to hop in the car if going downtown or to Wasena Park - these are about a 10/12 minute drive away. The backyard faces Brambleton Ave. so there's a fairly constant drone of auto traffic and some noise from the nearby businesses out on the patio; we didn't find it too bothersome but it's not a completely tranquil experience. Importantly, no road noise makes it into the house with the windows shut. We noticed only one very minor maintenance issue, which is that the ignition switch on the gas grill didn't work (can light it with a match). Overall, this house is an outstanding base for a visit to Roanoke, great jumping off point for the city center, hiking opportunities up or down the Blue Ridge Parkway, or local wineries, breweries, and distilleries.

We thoroughly enjoyed this house! It was clean, well appointed, and creatively decorated. Beds and furniture were comfy and just perfect for our needs. Our dogs were very secure in the large backyard. The home felt private and my favorite spot was on the covered deck, watching the birds and playing with our pups. I would definitely recommend this house and if we ever return to Roanoke, we will stay here!

The home smelled of mold / mildew and pets. Kitchen floor has sunken portions, WiFi was very weak as it was a “hot spot which I hadn’t realized even still existed and the furniture was uncomfortable. The location was amazing and the host was super nice.

Great property, really good location. The layout of the house and interior decoration was very nice. Overall a nice place. Could have been cleaner, floors needed some attention. House and kitchen were well stocked and made meal prep easy.

My family and I loved this house! From the fun decor, comfortable furniture (check out the movie theater in the basement) and the kitchen that the chefs in the family approved of. A rarity- the knives are sharp! We would definitely stay here again.

The house was neatly and clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard was sureen and was lovely for our dog. We had quick access to the Burgland Center for a concert. A great place to dine is Hollywood’s Restaurant and Bakery in Hollins. Host was very helpful and quickly answered all our questions. We would stay here again.

I stayed here with two colleagues for a work trip. The home is the most artfully decorated home I’ve ever rented, it is surprisingly large and has all the necessities plus nice bonuses. I would definitely stay here again. Also, very clean and spacious, the neighborhood is quiet, the backyard is pleasant and great for birdwatching. The host texted the day of to make sure we knew how to get in touch, and we had no issues with the property or location.
